Condom or Bareback?
-
@didigb said in Condom or Bareback?:
Since I've been on prep, it's bareback all the time. Sex feels so much better and I really get turned on by cumming inside some guy's ass
I agree - I prefer cumming deep inside my guy... but whether that's bareback or in a condom is not of major import... it's that feeling of thrusting and pulsing deep inside him that is so satisfying. For me.
I too am on PReP - and I'm mostly a top. I like to think of PReP as giving us control of our own level of protection vs. depending on (trusting) another. And I respect others' choices on how they protect THEMselves... so, when I encounter a partner who wants condoms, I comply.
Mind you - I am speaking for myself - I do not mean to imply others should (or must) do as I do, or feel as I feel.
If you strongly prefer bareback - and your partners agree to it - it's all good! Just so long as you aren't being deceitful (as in: telling someone who wants/demands condoms that you're using one, when you aren't (really) doing so.)

Just wondering if op is still neg after all these years of trusting his partners.
-
They don't make condoms(they make them for longer pricks but not for thickness) to fit a thick dick, especially as it gets closer to the base of my junk. BB all the way in!
-
Bareback. Ever since the hunky black quarterback of my HS football team, popped my cherry at the tender age of 15.
In undergrad, I learned I was allergic to latex when I was putting on a condom. My dick burned for days.
-
@pillowbiter Okay........
-
There are polyisoprene condoms that don't cause allergic reactions, if that would be the only excuse. But you could just say you don't like condoms at all, I guess for the most part of the bareback community it's much more of a state of mind than it is a physical discomfort.

@ianfontinell That experience with the condom only confirmed my desire for raw uninhibited sex.

@ianfontinell More than a few years ago, I brought some party favors to Mykonos ... internally ... in a latex condom.
The second day on the island, I had a lot of red skin bumps, which I attribute to the latex mingling with certain membranes during a 10-hour flight.
The bumps went away with some medicated cream after two days, after which I slept with the pharmacist's assistant. (Bagging an island native is the highest degree of difficulty, lol.)
I've always been mystified by those who attribute latex irritation to an active-role, 20-minute sexcapade, as it's external skin, but, oh well.

@gayaznboi22 definitely bareback, condoms ruin it
-
always condoms with someone new
Bareback and prep with friends -
I prefer bareback porn. And then I somerimes feel guilty, because I read somewhere that gay porn actors in bareback are all HIV+ already, and that's why they no longer care about rubbers.
-
@fezobe That's just.... No, kid.
They're not ALL infected, and being infected is a reason for you to CARE MORE, not the othe way around. If you're doing porn you gotta be taking something for risk reduction, if you're neg you have to be on prep, if you're poz you have to be on antiretroviral therapy.
No one's doing porn bareback because they want to get infected or because they don't care, it's just a industry standard, and it's not because the industry don't care either, they do care and have tried to make condom scenes, some still do. They've tried making the condom magically appear on the guy's dick, they have tried inserting it bareback and then cut to another take where a condom is there so that people are less likely to notice or care for it, they've tried condoms with very thin rubberband, they've tried making the condoms have a bigger role in the eroticism of the scene composition...
It's just that people don't want to see it, they lose much less money testing actors for STI's than they'd lose doing condom scenes.
-
@ianfontinell I meant as a sort of a job requirement: if you're already infected, you have fewer things to be afraid, so you might as well move to bareback segment.
Also, I'm not working in porn, I'm only watching it.
And for me caring is pointless - I have little to no chance of getting sex either way, so the condoms are simply irrelevant to me. And I have no say in porn studios politics on the issue, to close the argument.
Yes, I'm aware I can get both HIV and regular STI through means other than sex, so I still get screened regularly, just to be on the safe side. -
I prefer bareback. My Dr has me on PREP
-
Bareback,,, Is there any other way?
Condom? What's a condom? Who uses condoms?
-
I would only do bareback when I'm on Prep and with someone I trust tbh
-
@bestfiction2 how do you trust someone who has unsafe sex occasionally doesn't have an STI? Genuine question.
-
I used to trust guys and bottom bareback but that was pretty much totally self destructive and super risky! I stopped and got on PrEP.
Now I have one partner so we bareback all the time. It's great.
-
Bareback is so much better than condoms. But condoms are safer. It is a very annoying dilemma
