14 Year Old Girl Commits Suicide After Video Of Her Getting Jumped By School Bully’s

This is another example of what the left calls "white privilege".
-
@raphjd I think you know that I disagree with most of your posts, not because of any liberal/conservative agenda but because I see them as a stretch most of the time, and I don't bother commenting because I know that it will usually illicit a wave of abuse rather than engaging in civilised debate, but....
You want to maybe actually explain where the "white privilege" is in this story?
-
She was white and her attackers were black.
It's just like that 9yo white girl who was brutally beaten on the school bus by 3 black boys; a 14yo and a couple of 9-10yos.
Everything to you people is "white privilege" and/or "white supremacy".
5 black cops kill a black guy and how do you spin it? That's right, you call it "white supremacy".
When you clearly can't make something about race, you demand we not talk about race. Hell, even when everyone involved in an incident is non-white, you people make if about "whites are evil".
You changed the definition of words to suit your agenda. You changed the definition of racism so that only whites can be guilty of it.
-
@frostycab I can't speak to your past interactions with @raphjd and don't claim to.
(Read the above, twice.)
That said: In this thread the "abuse" or implied personal insults..... are first from you.
But how can that be? How can a person claiming to be against insults & personal conflicts be the person, in this new thread, who starts dishing them?
Can people not be what they present themselves to be?
Is that even possible? Since when?
-
@raphjd The article makes absolutely no reference to race at all, so what I'm saying is where does white privilege come into the story? Or white supremacy? To my eyes, this is another example of people taking what is in itself a tragic event and injecting it with personal bias.

Stop right there. Stop with this "you people" attitude. There are things we agree on and things we don't. That is life. Language like that is clearly intended to silence someone when they question something and it does little to promote debate, which I thought was what this forum was for.

Not every bad interracial interaction is down to race. Sometime people just do bad things. Immediately alluding to a racial cause can mean that other more relevant issues get swept aside and not discussed.

I have NEVER said anything even vaguely along those lines, either in this forum or anywhere else. Don't try to put words in my mouth.
@blablarg18 Perhaps my comment might have been phrased better. However, nearly every time I have questioned or asked for an explanation of his reasoning from @raphjd in this sub-forum he has repeatedly and consistently sidestepped anything people ask, refusing to engage with anyone who challenges his assertions beyond telling them they are liberal puppets because they're not simply accepting what a random person on the internet has told them. To the contrary, blindly accepting these things is what leads to people becoming puppets. And yes, some of his replies to previous comments have been rude, abusive and downright crude, so I was trying to say I'd like a direct answer without the usual deflection.
Now if we could return to the issue at hand, I'm going to admit to being rushed and just taking the Wikipedia definition of white privilege which reads "White privilege, or white skin privilege, is the societal privilege that benefits white people over non-white people in some societies, particularly if they are otherwise under the same social, political, or economic circumstances."
As such, my original question still stands. A girl got bullied and committed suicide. There's probably more to the story, but we only have the article posted above to go on. Where in this article does any privilege come into this?

It's your side that plays the race card at every turn.
5 black cops murder a black man and your side called it "white supremacy".
3 black boys brutally beat a 9yo white girl and the black journalist that covered it used a picture of a white boy as the aggressor, instead of using a screenshot from the video another black student took of the attack.
In this most recent case, it was once again black students who bullied and beat the white girl.
This is clearly the "white supremacy" and "white privilege" that your side constantly yammers on about at every turn.
YOU PEOPLE never say anything against the "white supremacy" and "white privilege" narrative that your side constantly spews.
I know that not every interracial incident is race-based, but your side makes sure that's how the world views it.
I have not sidestepped any questions. Your problem is that you don't like the answer I gave you.
The true privilege, isn't "white privilege" but rather black privilege, trans privilege, etc, etc.
YOU PEOPLE made it so blacks can do no wrong and when they do, you blame whites; ie the 5 black cops. It's not the 5 black cops that killed that black man, it was white people that killed the black man according to your side.
Dylan Roof and Emanuel Samson committed nearly identical crimes (shooting up a church in a racist attack) but the shooter's races were reversed. There was virtually total silence about one shooting and the other they won't shut up about. If Dylan Roof had white privilege because the cops didn't kill him, then Emanuel Samson had black privilege because the cops didn't kill him.
Obviously, my comments have gone way over your head. I am being extremely sarcastic when I say "more white privilege" when a white person is victimized by a black person.
Maybe if you actually paid attention to what liberal political parties and media outlets actually say, you might some day understand my point of view.
-
@raphjd I am not a liberal or conservative. I am an individual asking a valid question, but your response is loaded to the gunnels with accusatory language. I have always tried to see things from every side, and often play devil's advocate, but it's impossible to do that with someone who has put you in a box and refuses to open the lid. However, if wanting to hear about relevant, connected evidence before blindly accepting your version of things makes me a liberal then I guess I must be one.
All you've done in your original post is taken a tragedy, added your own bias and turned it into an attack by comparing it to as yet unrelated events.
-
@frostycab bits you addressed to me -
"he has repeatedly and consistently sidestepped anything people ask" - if you say so; but in this very thread, I see @raphjd answering your question.
"refusing to engage with anyone who challenges his assertions beyond telling them they are liberal puppets" - ditto. In this very thread, he's engaging you quite a bit more than you just claimed.
"I was trying to say I'd like a direct answer" - But your original phrasing (now way above) was an attack, and indirect at that. Indirectly - and out of the blue - you called him farfetched, abusive, uncivilized.
So why should he give you a direct answer? What example of being direct and friendly and clean, did you set here?
Did you consider saying no more than "I'd like a direct answer here, please" ? and then letting him hang himself, if he's so bad?
This is an anonymous debating backwater, not a law court. Even IF your statements about him were facts (not just feelings) - even IF you could convict him - you do not need to convict him. Stop working so hard.

@blablarg18 @frostycab
I can never say that I am always reasonable or even mainly so. I am just consistently amazed by the lines people spew. I have tried to reconstruct @raphjd 's argument but am completely at a loss as to the meaning he assigns to "white privilege". I wouldn't be surprised to find that Dominic Rabb approves of his communication approach. -
I explained it in clear terms.
I am using "white privilege" in a semi-sarcastic manner.
White privilege, as I see it is the ability to get beaten up by non-whites and no one on the left gives a fuck. In fact, in many cases they cheer the fact that white people got beaten up.
There's more to white privilege, but that's the general idea.
Likewise, white supremacy is the the ability for blacks to murder someone (except whites, because no one gives a fuck) and it not be their fault. This is the case with the 5 black cops that recently brutally murdered a black man in Memphis. Liberals refused to blame the black cops, but instead blamed white people and white supremacy.
-
And yet, even more "white privilege";
https://twitter.com/i/status/1624101094656815108
For the clueless, the white privilege in this video is for the white girl to get beaten up by 2 black girls and the left not give a fuck.
HOWEVER, if the races were reversed, the left would be screaming up a storm.
-
@raphjd holy (but sad) words. This, unfortunately, is valid on both sides of Atlantic Ocean: it's obscene and unfair ...
-
@raphjd I don't know much about this story... but how does a video of her getting jumped result in her committing suicide?
It seems to me that the people who commit suicide usually don't have problems that are that significant. I wonder how many people who commit suicide considered how their death, and the way they died, would affect the people who found the body, etc. I know of a woman whose son committed suicide, and it destroyed her. She never got over it. -
@lololulu19 Having been legitimately suicidal before, I can field this one... When you're in a low enough state to commit suicide, you don't think about others. The only thing you actually CAN think about is how much you want your depression and sadness to end. You don't think of how people will find the body, or how anyone is going to respond to the news. Literally, the ONLY thing you can think about is how much you just want an end to your emotional suffering. About the only thing you MIGHT think of is about what you'll put in a note so that people will at least understand WHY you did it. Anything outside of that doesn't even cross your mind when you're in that kind of a low place.
