He took a risk based on his beliefs, FREEDOM to weigh the risks and to make your own decisions is the AMERICAN WAYIf the guy was just my next-door-neighbor and had these goofball beliefs (you would need to have watched him on his network to get the full breadth of his wacko-ness), I would agree completely: he had and lived his beliefs, and he died because of them - his right, his life, his freedom.
But this ain't that...
This guy didn't just evangelize for his beliefs, he attempted to sway others to his beliefs - not by convincing them with facts or proof, but by conflating his anti-science beliefs with Christian faith, and insisting that anyone who didn't believe HIS version of things - things having nothing to do with Bible teachings, God, or Jesus Christ - that you were not a "good christian.... and he all-but-extorted money out of his "followers" to boot.
Sorry, I have to agree with the scorecard:
Science:1
Dumbass: 0
Evil caused by dumbass: still uncountable, but not climbing so fast anymore! -
But fully vaccinated people have died too.
There have been reports of vaccine/mask nazis dying of Covid. One of the viral Karen's died of covid. I guess her mask and vaccine didn't work because some people didn't trust Mr "I am the science".
Who are YOU to say that he would have survived if he was a Fauci worshipper like you?
BTW, you do know that St Fauci has made a career out of being a nasty POS, don't you?

But fully vaccinated people have died too.
But what about....?
Yes, some fully vaxed people do get very ill and die--but the undeniable fact is that people who are vaxed are much less likely to do so.
Public health and safety issues should be seen as risk reduction, not risk elimination. People who follow traffic signals might still get into a crash at a junction, but they're less likely to. People who exercise might still get heart disease, but they're less likely to. The fact that preventive measures don't always work doesn't mean they aren't effective and should be taken. This might be a difficult concept for some people to understand.
Who are YOU to say that he would have survived?
@bi4smooth did not say that. But it is a fact that people who are vaccinated are less likely to become very ill and die.
-
I'd say it was karma.
But yeah, being vaccinated doesn't mean you will not die of COVID or that you won't even have it. Just that you are less likely to develop it and, if you DO end up catching it, it'll be less likely to be a severe form.
I seriously don't get how people can be so much misinformed they actually think the vaccine has the purpose of eradicating the virus.
-
Even the Mayo Clinic website said that if you get the vaccine, you won't get covid.
Of course, certain someone had the pathological need to argue extremely clear wording of the website actually said something else.
You can find the thread here.

AH, the "whataboutism" nazi.
If you are going to slag off a person for not getting a vaccine and then repeat boosters and not wear masks, you have to accept it when people point out that your side dies too.
The death rate from covid is extremely low.
I've had the original 2 shots and was considered "fully vaccinated" by the Scottish government. Now I'm no longer "fully vaccinated" because I haven't had my 3rd shot, but I'll be getting that next week. RINSE AND FUCKING REPEAT.

No, it doesn't
If you search for "mayo clinic covid vaccine," the first page that comes up is https://www.mayoclinic.org/coronavirus-covid-19/why-get-vaccinated. This page says, "A COVID-19 vaccine might ... Prevent you from getting COVID-19 or from becoming seriously ill or dying of COVID-19"
Notice the word "might" in there. I think this wording is quite clear.
So, by your own definitions, this would make you a fucking liar. (I would prefer to say that it suggests that you are illiterate and/or ignorant).

AH, the "whataboutism" nazi.
Many people on here notice that your responses to other people are almost always an ad hominem, attacking the person rather than addressing issues. While this might give you some childish satisfaction, it shows the reader that you have surrendered on the topic and are left with nothing else than hurling your feces at people. This is not worthwhile discussion
If you are going to slag off a person for not getting a vaccine and then repeat boosters and not wear masks, you have to accept it when people point out that your side dies too. .
I have no idea what this incoherent rambling means. I do know that it's very likely nonsense.

They must have changed it since I originally posted about it. Good on them, finally. I wonder why you and your leftist buddies didn't say anything when I posted about what their page said at the time. It reminds me of how you guys (except, as always, @bi4smooth who always needs to fight) were silent about what the NIH's own website said was Gain Of Function Research prior to them admitting they funded it, then suddenly they changed the definition on their site.
Of course, you can't wrap your head around a simple concept. People on both sides are dying but let's slag off the ones you disagree with.
LOL, "many people here" is a logical fallacy. You are a "whataboutism" nazi and hypocrite. Of course, you ignore when your buddies do it to me, because you have no issue with them doing it because like a typical liberal, you feel justified in everything thing you do.
So, let's have a look at your own post. You called me a fucking liar, illiterate and ignorant. Yeah,

This demonstrates my point that when you have no rational argument to make, you resort to insults. Do you have any idea how asinine and childish this is?
So, let's have a look at your own post. You called me a fucking liar, illiterate and ignorant.
I thought giving you a taste of your own medicine might be helpful. But perhaps you know these things already.

You are a Whataboutism nazi and hypocrite, everyone here knows it.
AH, that is why you, claim, you did it. I still notice that you never, ever mention when someone on your side does it to me because you are so fair and balanced in your comments.
You are a typical liberal.

Thank you for again proving my point--that you have nothing substantive to say, and childishly resort to insults.
You are a typical liberal.
Actually, I'm not. But I don't think you would be able to understand this. Perhaps you can illuminate us as to what you mean by "liberal."

@eobox91103 - I have a word of advise to you, and it's often attributed to Samuel Clemmens (aka: Mark Twain), however, a viable citation has never (to my knowledge) been found. Nevertheless:
- Never argue with a fool. You'll never convince the fool that you're correct, and bystanders won't be able to tell who's who.
I rebut @raphjd on the merits of his posts. When he calls me names, I ignore it. When he questions my facts, I post sources.
What really GALLS him (@raphjd, that is) is that we agree on many political viewpoints - but I don't follow His Orange-ship, Lord Trump... nor do I accept the Russian misinformation that is so often re-published here - literally word for word!
I also reject divisive politics! I am a Republican, and have been for more than 40 years now. And there are some in my party now, as there have been some in the past, that I am truly embarrassed to share that label (Republican) with... and some Democrats have some good points: they're not stupid (not generally, anyway), they're not UN-informed or mis-informed (not always, anyway), and most of them are certainly not evil - they're just WRONG! LOL Most importantly, I listen to leaders on both sides - except that lately they're not talking to "We the People" - instead, they're shouting at each other and calling each other names... in public.
There was a time in American Politics - during my own lifetime - where political opposites could argue their cases on the House or Senate floor, and afterwards, go out to dinner together with their wives (ok, spouses in today's world?), and share a meal and a pleasant evening together - as colleagues. Truly IMPOSSIBLE today, as each's fringe groups would shred them in (anti)social media!
-
LOL, you are so full of shit.
-
You post nothing worthy of an actual reply.
If you are trying to play that game of "I'm not a liberal in Australia" or whatever country you are from, that's just political party name games. You clearly are not a conservative.
