How would you identify yourself according to the Hetero-Homosexual Rating Scale
-
The Kinsey scale, also called the Heterosexual–Homosexual Rating Scale, is used in research to describe a person's sexual orientation based on their experience or response at a given time.
Kinsey wrote:
Males do not represent two discrete populations, heterosexual and homosexual. The world is not to be divided into sheep and goats. It is a fundamental of taxonomy that nature rarely deals with discrete categories… The living world is a continuum in each and every one of its aspects. While emphasizing the continuity of the gradations between exclusively heterosexual and exclusively homosexual histories, it has seemed desirable to develop some sort of classification which could be based on the relative amounts of heterosexual and homosexual experience or response in each history […] An individual may be assigned a position on this scale, for each period in his life. […] A seven-point scale comes nearer to showing the many gradations that actually exist.
— Kinsey, et al. (1948). pp. 639, 656)
The Kinsey scale ranges from 0, for those who would identify themselves as exclusively heterosexual with no experience with or desire for sexual activity with their same sex, to 6, for those who would identify themselves as exclusively homosexual with no experience with or desire for sexual activity with those of the opposite sex, and 1-5 for those who would identify themselves with varying levels of desire for sexual activity with either sex, including "incidental" or "occasional" desire for sexual activity with the same sex.
Let's see how would we identity ourselves!

- I have been sexually active for 21 bad ass hardcore years. Several of these years, I have been in 7 long-term committed relationships. 3 women and 4 men, and never was I unfaithful, honest! My first sex was with a guy, and it was closeted but lasted for 2 years privately and was incredibly intense on all good levels, but my first female partner was just 3 months later. She and I also carried on physically for a couple years, and I loved every second I was having sex with her. Her orgasms made me feel like some type of massive mythic god, and I love that about the women I am with. Sexually I am blind to labels I suppose. I enjoy sex with both men and women for different reasons. But I do not do quiet scheduled, boring sex. Women must multigasm and do so loudly, always. Men must always push their physical limits while strengthening their psychological sexual "Id" at all times, while being respectful and safe too. These can't really mix between the sexes during intercourse. However, I do favor the men to a certain degree. So I will say I am a 3.5

unfortunately this scale just tells me exactly what I already know I'm exactly at 50% hetero 50% homo which is funny in a way to be exactly on the edge of both. you can test yourself on the web ( just google something like kinsey scale test)

I guess #5:
Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual -
I'm totally gay. On a Kinsey scale of 0 to 6, I'm an 8.
-
Have to say a 6
-
Started out as a 5, but very soon realised I was a 6. :hug2:
-
Whilst I can be attracted to a woman on an intellectual level and appreciate her beauty, I have zero physical and sexual interest in women. In short, I'm gayer than a double rainbow… :mb2:
-
1 to 5 if you are bisexual, 6 gay, 0 straight.
I don't understand why divide it with so much choices. -
This is… confusing. But I'm bi, so I'm definitely not 0 or 6.
-
pussy? eww lol
-
5.5 to 6
The only way i can be interested in "women" is when they transition to men, and it's really shocking the amount of handsome and hot trans guys out there -
I don't.
I find labels dissatisfying, but if they work for you, happy for you.
-
i would say 5 on a scale of 6
-
6 , definitely a 6
-
