Any Optimum Nutrition product. Look for a product that offers >24g serving in a scoop.

My favorite is Optimum Nutrition: Gold Standard 100% Whey
          Muscle Building Whey Protein Powder
24g of Whey Protein with Amino Acids for Muscle Recovery and Growth
          Very good for building muscle.
It comes in many flavor: Strawberry, Double Rich Chocolate, Vanilla Ice Cream, Banana Cream, Chocolate Malt, Chocolate Mint, Cookies & Cream, Mocha Cappuccino, Tropical Punch to name a few.  There are many other flavors.

Remember me with smiles and laughter
For that's how I will remember you all
For if you can only remember with tears
Then please don't remember me at all.

It's best to get the majority if not all of your protein from whole plant foods.  That way the protein is supplemented with fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytonutrients that will also boost your athletic performance. Animal proteins contain deleterious components like cholesterol, IGF-1, sulfur-containing amino acids, heterocyclic amines, estrogen, toxic heavy metals, etc..  If you really need to supplement your protein, I would consider hemp- or pea-based powders, and if you must use whey, this (NOW Foods Whey Protein Isolate, 100% Pure) is the best product that I've seen.

                  Really like ON as well.

I switched over to BodyTech, the brand sold through the Vitamin Shoppe, almost two years ago. It doesn't have as wide of a flavor selection (which is fine for me b/c I go for the basic double chocolate or vanilla), but it is nearly identical to Optimum Nutrition. The fat and carbs differ by half a gram, and they have the same amino acid profiles and protein ratios. I also cannot tell the difference in taste.

The upside to the BodyTech brand is it goes on sale twice a year. By stocking up on the basics I drive down my yearly supplement costs.

When I was hardcore hitting the gym, I tried a LOT of different ones. Most brands seriously upset my stomach and tasted like crap. The only ones that tasted great and didn't upset my stomach was GNC's brand of 100% pure whey protein.

I'm using ON 100% Whey, cheap for the type of protein that's in it.

My BF uses ISOPure (Isolate) since he's diabetic and being 0 carb is great for him.

Depending where you live: and if you're being cheap….

Body Fortress has been great ! 😄 Good Taste; high protein; good content

i think most the them are the same except flavours & textures, BSN strawberry isolation & OP's chocolate platinum are the only two I can actually enjoy for years.

He's right.  Most of the time you'll end up buying the brand's name more than anything else.

Just check for the highest protein per 100g and the lowest sugars
