Due to DoMA, US federal employees can get partly funded pet insurnce, but they can not get insurance for gay/lesbian partner.

While Obama has repeatedly made promises to repeal DoMA {and DADT, and pass ENDA} he and his administration are on their 4th defense of DoMA.  In previous defenses, they said that gays do not deserve marriage because gay relationships were no better than incest, bestiality and pedophilia.

With friends like Obama, who needs enemies.

Reasons why I like Canada. For years issues of that nature have never been an issue. In fact, not only do all insurance converage companies acknowledge and honour a same-sex partner benefit, but I am living proof that it is legally permissible to marry an individual of the same sex (at least in Canada).

It would be very interesting snooping into the sex lives of those responsible for throwing the petrol bombs  😠

Probably more to do with people being crammed into steerage class while there's a party going on in Business Class

so what the firm is allowed to do whatever they want, the people that would complain are those that cannot afford business class

I don't know about Russia's rules for internal adoptions {Russians adopting Russian kids}, but they have don't allow single people outside of Russia to adopt the kids.

I don't know if this true of all 50 states, as they all have different rules, but Prop 8 started as a petition.  Once it got enough signatures, it was placed on the ballot. The people of California then voted on it and 52% voted in favor of hate.
