Figuring out who you are is a tough rough for most people. But trying to figure out if your gay is really rough. Some people who are gay, don't want to be gay. But they know that trying to be straight will be misery and most likely a suicide.

A supportive parent stands by their child through all these struggles and is there for them with open arms when they make it to the other side.

I think Disney are often concerned about offending certain groups of people which is why they have avoided it until recently. They may hint for example in beauty and the beast to get a feel for the waters. They are playing it safe, however I think they should just dive straight in and if people get offended and never watch a disney film again… so be it.

To me, it's just Facebook still trying to curry favor with the Chinese government by being overly eager to cooperate. Facebook can either support LGBT people or appease the government, but not both…but it doesn't seem to understand that, otherwise Zuckerberg would've given up already.

Sad, because I know no matter how hard it tries, the Chinese government isn't ever going to let Facebook in the country. It'll be a cold day in hell when that happens.
