Amer Ghalib, the mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan, announced his endorsement in a Facebook post Sunday, just days after meeting the Republican candidate in person.
“I believe he is the right choice for this critical time,” Ghalib said of Trump, calling him “a man of principles.”
It's not great. I'm not fan.
Trump is reasonably pro-Gay and pro-Israel....makes it uncomfortable, if he cavorts with Muslim - that is, anti-Gay / anti-Israel.

Catrina Stackpoole, a former council member who identifies as LGBTQ, called the council's decision a "stab in the back."
"We welcomed you," Stackpoole said. "We created nonprofits to help feed, clothe, find housing. We did everything we could to make your transition here easier, and this is how you repay us, by stabbing us in the back?"
The unanimous decision to ban Pride flags on city property came during Pride month...However, Mayor Ghalib maintains that the LGBTQ community was not targeted...
Briggs, a lesbian resident, claims that she doesn't "feel comfortable to even hold hands with my girlfriend."
