Ever since I caught an STD years n years ago it made me think "Wow, we're all concerned about HIV and we are all forgetting the other STD'S going around."  We, referring to people and friends I knew…not the "you dear reader" we. 

My story.  Went home with a guy that I had the hots for.  Made my heart melt type of guy.  Ended up being a roommate of a girl I went to school with since Elementary. I guess she put it in a good word, or ...however that went.  We ended up at his place. Mostly just kissing and rolling all over each other.  He went down on me.  I really really liked him and didn't want our first get together being a hookup.  So I brought his head backup we made out some more and went to sleep.

It hit me the next day.  Didn't know wtf was going on.  He was on me orally for less than a minute but I got an STD.  I couldn't believe he could sleep around knowing what he had.  Which is when I learned a lot more than taught in school, which was zero.  Doctor said he may not even know and be a carrier.

If I'd known how it was gonna end up I at least woulda gotten laid.
He was so crazy cute.

Joke I heard years ago from a friend, and coming from this guy was a little shocking, which made it that much more funny to me.

I spent almost a week now researching the hell out of uTorrent online to get to know what every single frikking setting means and is for. Tweaked it.  Static IP…port forwarding...got all that stuff done to make uTorrent whiz by. Then THE RED ARROWS.

Thinking I've really messed something up, mooooore research. Which didn't help. Then I found the problem.

I used some Nero media player and it associated most of my media files with Nero. That's a pain. Considering how I spent weeks figuring out how to get media streamed to my xbox (no more burning. yay). So went and re-associated the media files to their original programs. What I didn't know is that Nero went and associated itself with .dat files also…...WTF!  Not just uTorrents' but all. That was an easy solution to fix.

So after all the research and tweaking and adjusting I get felled by some stupid little mistake or oversight. Isn't that usually the way.

No RL friend would even have a clue to what I was talking about, so thought I'd share this slightly annoying/amusing adventure with you.

Hey there, me wanting to know something AGAIN! I'm hoping we have some uTorrent experts out there that could help me figure out some settings I should put into uTorrent. Tell you what I've done so far.

Used TCPIP patch (EvID4226Patch), used speed guide to run speed tests.  I thought I knew what to do with these numbers to choose upload/download settings in uTorrent: peers per torrent, upload slots etc. Couple days ago checking it all out and changed some settings. Thought with my new internet connection maybe it'd be faster.  Well I went from download speed of around 56-90kBs to close to 400.    Wow, nice speed; not sure if it's good for me to download that fast.  I've been reading online every dam guide out there, read so much I now think I've all the settings wrong.

After the speed test I had to do things like: take this speed divide by 10 multiply by .80 this is your d/l this is your upload…etc. (hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about). That's the part I thought I knew, after reading so much about it all I've just confused myself all to hell now.

Anyhow, my speedtest results were 4759/538. For now I guess I just need to know how to figure out these calculations correctly.

Hopefully this makes some sense to any uTorrent experts out there. After reading almost every relevant guide online for two days has just burnt me out and everything I've done looks wrong to me.

Bought Too Human last week when it came out, ho-hum. Traded it in for Mercenaries 2, had more fun with it in 10 minutes then a whole week of Too Human.

gotta stop buying these damn games. ::)
