Ich hab dzu jetz auch mal ne Frage. Ich weiss ja warumn das verboten ist (wurde auch bereits hier erklaert), aber was kann ich denn machen wenn eines schoenen Tages die Thailaendische Regierung beschliesst diese Seite zu blockieren? Weil in Thailand ist das so dass ein Haufen Webseiten, die irgendwie mit "Sex" zu tun haben, zensiert wreden - wenn man da hinwill kriegt man bloss eine Seite der Regierung welche sagt dass "Diese Seite wegen unsittlichem Inhalt unzugaenglich ist".

Aus diesem Grunde hat jeder Thai (und ich auch, als Deutscher in Thailand) der in Porno interessiert ist auch irgendwelche Proxy-Software auf seinem Computer. Ich persoenlich nehme dazu AOL weil's einfach gut ist - meine ADSL ist von TRUE (Thailand) und wenn ich mit dem AOL browser surfe krieg ich JEDE Seite weil das nen Proxy in Deutschland anfaehrt.

Nun gaytorrent.ru ist (noch!) nicht zensiert, aber was soll ich tun WENN's zensiert wird? Gibt es da eine Moeglichkeit? Vielleicht Ausnahmeregelung fuer "Donators" mit gutem Ratio die mit Sicherheit kein "Doppel-Account" noetig haben? Ich denke mal dass die "Risikogruppe" doch eher die sind deren Ratio immer so gaaaanz knapp ueber dem jeweiligen Minimum haengt…...

Ich wuerde mich da mal ueber nen Tipp freuen um "fuer den Fall der Faelle" vorbereitet zu sein

Yo, uist ja auch eigentlich ganz einfach weil eben das "Gesamt-Ratio" eine Summe der enzelnen Ratios ist… also wenn Du einen Torrent runterlaedst der danach nicht so recht seeden will weil den keiner mehr haben will kannst Du auch selbst einen hochladen und mit der Kombination der beiden auch das Ratio erhalten Ist nen Haufen Rechnerei und in Mathe hatte ich immer ne 5, also lassen wir das

Heut ist Sonntag, jetzt ist 10:40 und ich schwing mich gleich ins Auto, einkaufen gehen - Teile fuer 6 Computer. Den Rest des Tages werde ich dann im Buero zubringen, die 6 Machinen bauen und installieren. Wochenende eines System-Administrators in Thailand

Ich bin zwar auch schon seit 13 Stunden am rotieren (nach 4 Stunden Schlaf, DAS wiederum nach 14 Stunden Arbeit!) und somit Hirn-maessig etwas eingeschraenkt - und rechnen kann ich sowieso nicht, aber ich versuch mal das auf die Reihe zu kriegen.

Also Du hast ein Ratio von 4 (nur als Beispiel). Also um das zu halten musst Du JEDEN Torrent so lange seeden lassen bis Du 4x die runtergeladene Menge hochgeladen hast - also wenn Du eine 1 GB Datei runterlaedst, musst Du die so lange seeden bis Du 4 GB von der selben Datei hochgeladen hast, dann ist das wieder bei 4.

Und dabei spielt das keine Rolle ob du mit doppelter oder dreifacher Geschwindigkeit hochlaedst - um ein Ratio von 4 zu halten musst Du jeden einzelnen Torrent bis Ratio 4 seeden.

Oder in Deinem Fall eben 4.34. Und je hoeher Dein Ratio ist desto schwieriger wird das - guck mal mich an, ich hab momentan ein 12.2 Ratio, wenn ich also 1 GB runterlade muss ich 12.2 GB hochladen um das Ratio zu halten….. und das wird schwer weil da keine Leecher mehr sind bevor ich das fertig hab

Da hilft nur eins..... Die Standleitung der Firma nutzen und neue Torrents hochladen mit allem was die Leitung hergibt Als System-Admin hab ich da Kontrolle drueber und mein Chef laesst mich machen was immer ich will solange waehrend der Arbeitszeit genug Bandbreite da ist fuer die Arbeit - und weil die Leuts nie mehr als 50 kB brauchen lass ich mit dem Rest Torrents laufen

OMG i can't imagine the chaos THAT would generate…. since i am presently already seeding a torrent with videos that could be categorized as "Asian youngblood amateur bareback twinks" and some of them that include some fisting should add "fetish" on top of that...... nah, i prefer to put them into "Asian" because that's the main "selling point".

Multi-category torrents really will only mushroom into every category available (a "bear" for one is a "hunk" for the other!) and would make the whole point of having categories invalid - then we could all throw everything in the single category "videos".

I discovered a couple of bugs, or functions not yet implemented…....

1. Upload Avatar - it returns "The upload folder can not be written" error message.
2. Notify of topic replies - i checked that in my profile but still don't receive notifications. That's the function i would appreciate the most

Is it just me thinking so or IS this new forum a hell of a lot faster in loading than the old one?

Hmm i must have overlooked that in the Wiki page…... but thank you very much for informing me

Regarding the "Kupe" i have some bad news... as i already expected, those "Kupe" are much different from what i am looking for. Those that you gave me the site is more classical or traditional music (i downloaded some and put on my phone to listen to them) while what i am looking for is electronic techno-dance kind of music. I have this one cassette which's cover i have scanned, but apart from that i have no idea about the band.

For torrent.ru, thanks a lot for providing the link I went there but again all i see is a lot of writing in cyrill which i can't decipher.... but it says something about the time (i can read THAT) and apparently i am some 4 hours too late now. Shoot. So i'll have to try that tomorrow.

Maybe when i reach home i'll find the two torrents that i started in the morning to be completed.... i hope so, they have been small files (70-ish MB) but only one seeder on each. If not i'll just grab more of the YouTube videos for now.

Again thank you sooooo much!! Sadly i can't use the links for Victor Tsoi….. for one i have no idea what is "FLAC" or "APE", but worst - the site wants me to login, and i can't read anything on it so i don't know how to sign up :..( There is no English version, it's Russian only.

I was already able to download a number of videos from YouTube at home before i left for work, and i will later extract the sound from those so i get those songs too. I am surprised to see Victor Tseu is kind of Asian? He looks almost Japanese or Korean to me. D you know something about that?

About Kupe, i have seen the site and yessss, there are downloadable mp3's. I will go into that when i am back at home (now at work and there's no loudspeaker or headphone on my workstation). I hope it's the same "Kupe" because the pictures suggest much older band members (see the right guy on the pic i posted... such a handsome guy!!)

You've gotten me the greatest "blast to the past" in the recent years.... i am currently listening to "Zvezda Po Imeni Solntse" and it's like zoooom - and 15 years back, me on the Zundapp KS 50 on the way to Zell/Mosel to visit my russian friend Alexander for a weekend, hanging out in the woods and smoking pot...... listening to this kind of music all day long!

You know certain types of music have an effect on me like certain kind of drugs have on others.... there's this cold shivering and the wish to pull the volume higher even tough it's max already...... Victor Tsoi does that for me, as well as certain classical Chinese stuff, i don't know, in a past life i must have been there and it all comes back when i listen to it now...... (funny thing is i never been to Russia or China...)

I found a couple torrents on Isohunt but they're one seeder only, the one i am listening too i ripped off YouTube

I, too, could use some help on the same subject…. hopefully someone Russian can help me out. While i am just a lousy German, i have always been and am still interested in all sorts of music, which of course includes Russian.

Now a VERY long time ago a Russian friend gave me a cassette without label, so i have absolutely no idea how the name of the singer is written - my friend tough told me that he is dead since a while. His name was "Victor Zai" or "Victor Zeu" or very similar to that (as i said, no idea how to write it....) The music style was melancholic, trancey (not in a "techno" kind of way!) slow and veeeeery beautiful to listen to..... good for meditation etc.

Now i would EXTREMELY appreciate if someone could point me in a direction where i could find this music. As mp3 that is, as i now live in Thailand and there is no Russian music available here et all, no chance.

Another Russian band that i am seeking music of is "Kupe" (again no idea how to write it), the English pronounciation like "Coupe" and written in kyrill it looks like "KYnE". This dance music. I have a cassette from the year 1999 and by now it has deteriorated so much that it is almost impossible to listen to it. Again due to my inability to write the name correctly i never found any place to download any of their music.

Again, i would HIGHLY appreciate help on the matter, and if it is only by telling me how to correctly write the names of the singer/band so i can research it myself......

Vielen Dank fuer die Antwort. ich weiss ja nicht wieso Ihr Dell verwendet (in den USA sagt man auch "die zwei groebsten Fehler die ein Mann begehen kann sind zu heiraten und einen Dell zu kaufen") und wieso die bloss Support geben wenn ihr das Dreifache fuer die Hardware bezahlt….. na ja.

Ich bau Computer als Beruf und kann da einen Tipp geben re: 2 Quads und 8 BG.... fuer das gleiche Geld gibts zwei Dual und 16 GB, und DAS taugt mehr als Server Beim Server ist RAM was beim Auto der Hubraum ist - wirklich durch nichts zu ersetzen ausser durch mehr davon.

Wieviel und was fuer RAM habt Ihr denn, bzw. braucht Ihr noch? Da wo ich wohne (Bangkok) ist sowas vergleichsweise billig, wenn ich weiss nach was Ihr such kann ich mal gucken gehen (aber nicht vor naechstes Wochenende, ich komm bloss Samstags in die Gegend weil ich waehrend der Woche ja arbeiten muss).

Ich hatte uebrigens das gleiche Problem am Freitag (gleiche Fehlermeldung) aber up/downloaden ging. Als ich nach Hause kam war der Tracker zwar offline aber ich war trotzdem noch mit Leechern verbunden und mein Torrent wurde fertig geseedet
