Why do western countries have to change to suit the immigrants? The US has to change to suit illegals, muslim immigrants, and all manner of non-American people. The same here in Europe, but it's far worse here.
Why should native people have changed to suit Western immigrants?
You don't like new immigrants in the US? Then go back to wherever your family comes from.
Either you are dishonest or delusional. I didn't say I hate immigrants, I said why should we change to suit them. They come to the west because it's better than where they are from, but demand the west become where they are from. I guess you are one of those liberals who loves seeing illegal Mexicans waving the Mexican flag demanding the US change to suit them. Go to Mexico and try that same crap and see how long it takes before you get beat up.
Are you saying that other countries pander to immigrants like we see happening in the west? WOW, cool!!! I can go to the middle east with my husband and be openly gay. I can take my sisters and they can dress and act however they like. :cheesy2:
Please tell me about all the middle eastern countries that have special court systems for non muslims. Isreal only has 1 legal system, but they have Beth Dins (jewish courts) in other countries, like the UK. Saudi only has sharia courts, but they have sharia courts in other countries, like the UK.
I'm just curious - how do you feel about British tourists coming to places like Spain, Turkey, Greece, Cuba, Malaysia, Hong Kong etc to escape the terrible British weather and staying at resorts set up especially for them, where they can sit by the pool and eat fish and chips, without the burden of having to experience any of the local culture? I am genuinely curious.
My husband's sister and brother-in-law are actually expats working in Hong Kong. They're lovely, but they pretty much stay inside the expat community, only make friends with white people, don't speak the local language and eat mostly food imported from Britain. They make a lot of money by working in Hong Kong, though.
