There are a few main reasons why I have a relatively good ratio

I seed 24/7. Even though the torrent client is open all the time, it seems to be able to actively seed several hours within 24 hours (mostly on night time) I intentionaly download FREELEECH torrents that have good leech/seed ratio. Even though I almost always delete them after a few days when seeding is no longer happening. Then I download the next freeleech torrent You get bonus points for torrents you vote on and (I found out not too long ago) that you get bonus points for every forum post you make (which before the forum design change I was faily active) - You can exchange these points for upload
I currently have 6,816.5 bonus points
