    • RE: Weight Loss Drugs

      @noxxim:

      The only one that worked realy good was Ephedrine but its forbidden in most countrys now and hard to get. You can drink the Chinese Ma Hoang tee if you want.

      This stuff is a little more akin to a prescription amphetamine than to over-the-counter ephedrine.  And you still can buy ephedrine over-the-counter as an asthma remedy.  It's known as Bronkaid or Primatine tablets.  I'd recommend the Bronkaid with it's higher ephedrine amount.

      But yes, ephedrine is effective, but only mildly so compared to the prescription stimulants.

      @Spintendo:

      You might want to ask your doctor about Byetta. It's really gone under the radar as far as a weight loss drug, but its effects are substantially better than anorectics.

      I might ask my doctor about using this alone or synergistically with the anoretics, which have worked well for me in the past.

    • RE: Weight Loss Drugs

      This a doctor supervised program, the drugs used are stimulants and are controlled substance.  So they can be moderately addictive when misused.  I've used them multiple years in the past, before my hiatus I tended to generally dislike taking them due to side effects.  But I admit the wakefulness promoting use came in handy during my college years.

      I gained very little weight while off of them, 25 lbs, in three years.

      It basically makes a reduced caloric diet more satiating, or sometimes makes the idea of food repulsive.

      But for fat person like myself, where the drug causes few side effects and they're normal, increases weight loss with decreased effort, and no apparent personal abuse potential.  What could the harm be?  If you were 248 lbs and fat like me would you not do it if you were in my situation?

    • 31m American looking for British mate

      I'm 31 years old and have a huge thing for British men.  I don't care if their from Scotland, Wales, or England they all sound hot and are fit.  If you're a british man, looking for a pen-pal, Skype-pal, or phone-pal with a man with an American (Oklahoman) accent, hit me up.  I'm always looking for news friends.  I needn't be sexual, I'm just looking to make some British friends.

    • HPV Vaccine for men

      I've been toying with the notion of asking my doctor for the HPV vaccine that is recommended to women to prevent the virus (genital warts) that cause cervical cancer.

      Just today I heard that there has been practically no debate, over giving the vaccine to boys just to prevent future warts and limit their spread of the HPV.  For some reason it's not controversial to offer the vaccine to teenage boys but it is hugely to offer to teenage girls.

      Anyway, since HPV is prevalent in the gay community, and the gay community would run the increased risk of rectal cancer caused by this virus, doesn't it make since for a clean (never had a STD) man to get this vaccine?  What are your thoughts?  Would you do it?  And what other vaccines, if any, would a gay man possibly benefit from?

    • Weight Loss Drugs

      Let me start this off by stating I used to be a huge person >340 lbs.  As the result of a diet drug I took several years ago I lost over 100 lbs in approximately one year by using prescription diet pills, mostly phendimetrazine.  I got down to a low of 220, and just gave up trying to lose any more weight, because the loss came less easier.

      And now here I am almost 3 years to the day weighing 240 lbs, starting the diet pills again.  I hope they have as much effectiveness as they did the previous run.

      Anyone else have experience with anorectic drugs?  What are your insights, and would you consider this cheating during a weight loss  drug during a diet/exercise regimen?  Would you consider it too unsafe using these powerful stimulants?

    • RE: Retin A

      @bluehue:

      So you use the prescription strength one? May I ask how much you pay per day to use it?

      There isn't an over-the-counter version of any of these drugs.  It's available in generic and probably runs $20 - $35 every month or two.  My insurance pays but many will not for adults, because it's perceived as being used for cosmetic purposes.

      Any doctor will write you a prescription no worries.  It's basically harmless if used properly, but can take months for you skin to tolerate frequent use.  But it's well worth it.  Start out slow and work your way up.  Good luck.

    • RE: Retin A

      Thanks Spintendo for the input.  What you provided is most informative, but I'm not necessarly using it for acne.  Although acne is a concern, the main reason for my usage is cosmetic.  It makes my skin appear more youthful, and successfully at that.  It just took my skin a lot longer to acclimate to the use of Retin A than it did for the Differin (wich had poor results on the appearance of my skin).  I'd recommend Retin A for anyone whose is looking to reduce fine wrinkles and to make the skin appear more youthful.

    • RE: Retin A

      I switched because the Differin had only a modest effect on my acne.  The Retin A completely cleared it up but it can cause severe irritation if used too frequenly, but it's ideal to use daily once you can tolerate it.  I'm just not sure if I should be having irritation, albeit minimal, after a couple months.

      thanks fellas,

    • Retin A

      I've been using topical prescription retonoids for several months now.  I love how they make my skin firm, smooth, and blemish free.  They've taken 5 - 10 years off my face.  Anyway, I recently switched from Differen 0.01 to Retin A 0.05 and have had significantly  more irritation with the retin A.  It has gotten much better over the past month but still have to skip a day now and then.

      Does anyone else have experience with retonoids.  Frankly the Differen wasn't strong enough and I think I may have too strong of a Retin A.  Should I stick it out longer hoping it will get better or should I speak to my doctor about a less potent strength?  What are your experiences?

      Thanks,
      sly

    • AT&T data caps

      What are y'alls opinions of AT&T's data caps in the U.S.?  Is 150 GBytes per month enough for you?  Does anyone else use an ISP that has similar policies?  If so, does the limit ever affect you?

      Here's my situation.  I'm going on, let's say, a retreat, where computers will not be allowed but my tablet PC should be.  Anyone know of any good eye-candy sites that don't require flash and have plenty of non-video content to help pass my personal time away?

      Suggestions much appreciated..

      I've already seen him twice in two recent postings.  One posting, which may of been an old video which I had never noticed before, the other, made by Raging Stallion and with a more mature looking Blu and posted as "Tales From Last Summer."  I'm not sure if these are old works of his or not.  But they sure are getting me excited for new Blu material.

      Please post the moment of any news or of a release when a new video featuring Blu becomes available.  You'll have my eternal gratitude.  And whatever consolation I can provide 😉
