I think that happens with everyone, you'll learn to deal with it. I do it in the reverse way also, if I message someone and there's no reply for days, I'd just block them so I don't accidentally message them again. As people pointed out in multiple other posts, most people on those apps are after hookups, that's why many of them just judge others based on looks

Certainly not just in your country, it's a universal thing. It's difficult to form relationship for gay guys especially if you in the closet, as you can't take friendship further like heterosexuals do,  where you get to know others as friends, and you observe them in their day to day activities and find out more about their personality and what they are like as a person. Online connections seem to be one of the most convenient and popular way for gay guys to connect but unfortunately the only deciding factor here is their appearance, if you don't fit a certain profile you will be automatically ignored. Women tend to go through stages where they want to settle down, and start to focusing on characters like ability to provide for family, stability etc, and settle with someone that offers more than just a pretty shell, with gay guys generally that is not an issue that's as important, so they probably would still rank appearance ahead of other qualities.

Don't see any problem with that, you could get ideas like a new underwear, or position (prob not a good idea as most "skilled" position are not comfortable and will result in awkward accident)

You hit the nail right on the head with the word "marketing", that's all there is - capturing a market segment, I really doubt all the gay friendly businesses (esp larger corporations) really care that much about gay rights etc, it's about appealing to their target customers. As Dene mentioned above, gay guys generally don't have kids hence they have more disposable income.

What's everyone's thoughts on strippers that are gay for pay? Recently I had the opportunity to visit a strip club and all the dancers walk around the floor offering private dances, this young guy came up to me and started chit chat, as soon as he mentioned the words "my girlfriend", it was almost like an instant turn off for me. The format of porn has also changed a lot these days, it used to be distributed on VHS and CD/DVD where producers will make the most of the space available on the medium to make them cost effective. These days most porn are distributed online so you see less full length type of movies, so it's less likely to have quality plot based movies. Also it would be a lot more costly to make with the sets required, whereas a simple sex scene clip only need a room, just look at Men.com's parody clips, it'd be quite expensive to just get costumes etc.

People feel different about public display of affection, there are straight couples who don't hold hands/kiss in public, doesn't mean they love each other less, they just choose to express it differently. Being gay and fight for acceptance and equality is about embrace people's differences, there is no magical formula for all couples to follow, whatever works for each relationship.

I live in the Greater Boston area of Massachusetts in the USA.  There are a large number of universities in this area as well as the fact the my state was the first one to legalize same-sex marriage in the US.  Massachusetts has always been very forward when it comes to the rights and acceptance of gay people.  There are thousands of openly gay guys around this region.

Yep this is far too common, I have on my profile saying I'll reply to all messages, even if I'm not interested, yet still guys don't have the balls to say that I'm not their type, and the few meet ups I have arranged recently, pretty much all had messaged me on the day before saying that they are either sick or whatever and never contacted me again. The best one didn't show up at our meeting place when we supposed to meet, when I messaged him, he said he fell asleep and wants me to go pick him up from where he lives, which is not too far away from the meeting place, I suggested that I'm happy (tho pissed off) to meet him someone near his place as it was a nonplay meet up anyway, but he refused and insisted that I should go pick him up and come back to the place we were supposed to be meeting in the first place. Don't think it's a "Czech men" thing, it's an industry thing, most guys working in porn would/are escort, the industry exposure would help them with charging a premium for it. Like both replies above stated, we can't control what type of guys we are attracted to, just like we didn't choose to be attracted to men. Personally I find it is narrow minded and presumptuous to exclude an entire race of people from your potential partner whether it's for a quick fuck or long term relationship, I'm sure we can at least pick out one guy from each race from all the videos posted on this site and say yes I find him attractive.

While it's ok to state your preference and you can't help if other people that will be offended by anything, it's easy to be considerate and polite, instead of saying "No (race), No (body type), no (age range)", just tell people what you like - "After fit latino guys around my age", you don't even have to type more letters with that and you can practice being tactical when express your views.
