most of there work has been re-released by Bijou Video who restores gay porn , some of them are on this site if you don't to buy the DVDs

my recommendations

A Deep Compassion: an excellent film but be warned, the ending well acted and is kind of infamous, the only problem with Bijou's re-release is it not the full film, its missing 31 minutes and they never said if the footage is lost or not

A Ghost of a Chance: a well directed, written and acted romantic comedy, its a lot more light-hearted then that last one, its enjoyable and its has no missing footage

Isn't it amazing how, when porn was legalized they were very ambitious with plots, acting that ranged decent to surprisingly good (unless they were on drugs, that's where things got bad or even funny) and over all, a close to hollywood quality to them but now a days, finding a porn with any ambition, is a rarity, its kind of sad to be honest

Uniform Studios/Uniform X/Cop Force/Smoke Flixx/Uniform U.S./Cop Flix/Hot Daddies Video/Academy Men/Miami Beach Studios/Iron Horse: I think there all owned by the same company because if not, its one hell of coincidence they all the same theme, horribly ugly bottom of the 90s/early 2000s barrel filmmaking (even for porn its bad) and a cast of men who mostly look like a cross between someone's redneck dad and the vary worst of 70s male porn actors, its not sexy and don't get why it keeps getting uploaded

Unfortunately most porn with a plot is from the 70s and 80s, with length of a Hollywood movie, now a days, you're lucky if they use the cliche delivery boy "plot" but i can help you find few good films

For Thriller: A Deep Compassion (1972) Its sexy, A bit artsy, A bit tragic and has a shocking ending, its a classic that works even if someone removed the porn thanks to some legitimately good acting and the directing skills Brad Kingston who keeps things suspenseful until the end

For Western: To the Last Man (2008), The newest recommendation i can give, its a loose adaptation of the 1921 novel To the Last Man by Zane Grey, a surprisingly well acted and directed film featuring big names like Ricky Sinz and Logan McCree, its also one of the most expensive porn's ever made with a 200 thousand dollar budget  and won multiple awards

For Drama: Wanted (1980), Staring the iconic Al Parker, the film is about 2 men who escape from prison to get away from the evil warden who runs the place, it focuses on developing relationship between the escapists
