Here is a short video of a documentary of the journey of those Jews who where still young then. @blablarg18 Uhm, I'm not really struggling about what democracy means. I'm for pro-democracy. I took part in a revolution that toppled a dictator though our president right now is the son of that dictator and it seems like he is trying his best to change that image of his father but history is still history. Nothing can change the truth.

Democracy in our current generation: Free speech and transparent, honest elections can now be twisted easily with money, lies and fake news through social media. You could have transparent, honest elections but those voter's brains has already been manipulated and twisted before the elections. Then tadah! The greatest country of them all got The Orange Man and on the other side of the world they got The Dictator's Son.

Oh and yes. They won through transparent, honest elections.

As for Technocracy, I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing, but this is what I read about it and this why I prefer it.

Maybe this is a more modern description for this? Were you referring to technocrats from the old times like the Roman times? As for dictators, all kinds of governments can breed dictators but they are most commonly bred from democratic means ones they've tasted money and power.

It's the same for every democratic country. Democracy gives the people the freedom they want and if you are smart and something drives you, it empowers you to do your shit.

My ideal government though is a technocratic one which China is doing but in a twisted way that involves bloodlines. I wish technocracy in a democratic way where you put the right people in the right positions regardless of status.

But yeah, not possible since everything is run with money. If you don't have money, you are nothing. If you have money you can do what you want. That's what democracy empowers you.

Why does this still happen in America? This is just heart-breaking. It breeds hatred, sadness and agony.

Not to compare but rarely would you hear anything like this happening in Asia that is gay-related.

To consider the advancement of technology, society, law and a lot of other things America could be proud of, this still exists - gay-related and not. So many shootings. The ability and availability of guns and other weapons in the United States is just too easy even with all the laws.

It's not legal to own a gun in Japan or South Korea. China has the strictest rules in the world in regards to owning a gun or some other weapon but that's another thing because they are just making sure the general public won't have the means to fight back against communism but for a country where being gay is illegal nothing like this ever happens.

It's legal to own a gun in my country but still, nothing like what keeps happening in America.

Owning one gun is already something but being able to equip oneself with a multitude of weapons by a member of the general society is very concerning.

@hubrys Yes, I could say the same. I have not read much about him but I have read most about Senator Mon Mothma on how she became the new Chief of State after the defeat of Emperor Palpatine until her retirement and death and a Republic Imperial-class Star Destroyer named after her.

I just recently subscribed to Disney+ to try it out as it just became available here two days ago. I actually subscribed because I wanted to watch another series - The Golden Spoon which is a Korean Drama Series exclusive to Disney+ and there are two boys love actors in it. The web version of Disney+ is broken, slow and unresponsive. I'm not sure if it's because it's just new here and still being polished but the app version works well. Amazon Prime Video is still the cheapest, Netflix has flexible plans and Disney+ is in the middle but costs more than double of Amazon so I do not think I will retain it after watching what I like.

@john32123666 I see. Okay I understand that but I have never experienced this before with QB and I have been using it for quite a long time now.

So, what I'm doing now to remedy this is to exit QB and run it again and switch my VPN to another location. Some locations would last longer than other. I really do not know if what I'm doing has anything to do with the problem.
