Everyone is different, with different tastes and as we see from the posts so far, most of the games are cross-platform.

If you have an original Xbox ONE, then it's worth upgrading even if you don't have a 4k TV.  There is a significant power boost.

If you have an Xbox ONE S, the issue isn't so clear.    It depends on how actively you will be in getting new games over the next 3 or so years until the new Xbox version comes out.

Xbox ONE X needs to be plugged directly into the wall socket due to it having a surge protector built in.  Microsoft says that plugging it into a surge protector will hinder performance.    I can say that this is true, from my own experience.

Microsoft has been buying up video game studios over the last 2 years, so expect to see some new Xbox exclusives.

The games I play tend to be either Xbox exclusives (Forza, etc) or cross-platform.  Even though I do own a PS4, I don't really see a reason to have one over an Xbox, but I see having an Xbox over a PS4.

I don't like the PS4 controllers as they have to either be plugged in or directly recharged, whereas Xbox controllers can use swappable batteries or rechargeable batteries.    With Xbox, I can play for more than 4 hours with wireless control, but not with the PS4.

I have man-hands, so the Xbox controllers fit my hands well, where the PS4 controllers feel small.

Carrot fly is out of control in the UK.  You need to protect your carrots by either growing them in raised beds or have garden fleece around them.  Carrot fly can fly up to 1.2 meters.

Leaf based crops are always a good choice for new gardeners.

Beans are also good.

Add a lot of poo and compost.    Dig out the area at least 1 foot deep, but 2 or 3 feet deep is best.  We use an electric cement mixer to mix the poo (well-rotted farm animal), compost, and dirt (in equal parts; 1-1-1) and refill the area.  We then use scaffolding boards to walk on so we don't compact the ground.

Tomato plants do best when they are planted deep.  They will then grow roots from the stem/trunk.

Both lots of heat, so make sure you can provide that if you want to be successful.

Both are hungry feeders too.  HOWEVER, do not use any product labeled "tomato fertilizer", unless it specifies early use.    Use a general fertilizer for veg.

Once they start to flower, you then switch to "tomato fertilizer".

DO NOT water the plant itself as that will cause diseases and mildew.    Water the ground and keep it evenly watered.  Tomatoes will split if they get uneven watering.

If you are healthy or taking no meds, then you can give them pee once a week.  You will need to dilute this to prevent burning the plant roots.

Most houseplants sold in local shops should be fine.

European (created/bred) ficus trees are a better choice traditional ficus trees as they were created for being a houseplant.  They are more giving to a variety of conditions and won't drop their leaves with the slightest change of conditions.

Orchids are nice, but you have to know what you are doing to get them to reflower.

ZZ plants are a good choice.  They can take a wider variety of conditions and survive.  If you are a very neglectful person, then try to get one that's in a 5-inch pot or bigger so it will survive.  They can live through some of the worst houseplant conditions.  They won't die easily, but won't thrive either.    I have one in the darkest place in my house and it's growing, but it's extremely slow.  The more light it has, the more water fertilizer it needs.  If the "branches" (more like stalks) are droopy, then it needs water/fertilizer.  It grows from a tuber, so be careful not to overwater.

Peperomia has well over 1,000 varieties, but their care is very simple and most people can be successful with these, except the worst of the worst plant killer people with black fingers rather than green fingers.  They hate overwatering and will rot easily.  They like a bit of neglect, but not cactus amount of neglect.

Mother-in-law plants are pretty bulletproof but need a decent amount of light.  The tips are evil and you may want to clip the spikes off with nail clippers or the like.

Cast Iron plants are nice too.  In Houston, we had these both inside and outside.  Don't put these in full sun or they will burn.  Leaf color is based on the amount of light.  More light means lighter/brighter leaves.  The lowest survival amount of light gives a seemingly near black leaf.

Palms are also good but don't really like dry indoor conditions.  If you live in a place where you need a lot of AC and/or heat, then you might want to skip these.  If you live in a place where you can keep the windows open, then they should do well.
