Liberals constantly told us how rioting and looting didn't spread C-19, while claiming that peaceful protests were super spreader events.

And again, religious gathers were restricted and police putting a stop to them while allowing rioting and looting.

Of course, politicians exempt themselves from their own laws. I am the chairman of my royal borough (not the entire city) and the City is putting in Low Emission Zones across the city. They have exempted themselves from the LEZ rules so they can drive anywhere in the city, without a care, no matter how polluting their cars are. The same applies to the dirty-ass city vehicles, that should have been replaced a decade ago.

Valneva vaccine is "banned" in the EU, but the UK has bought 5 years' worth of it, plus the option for an extra 90 million doses. The contract gives the UK priority for the doses.

Valneva vaccine is a traditional vaccine, not mRNA.

I'm not sure if "banned" is the correct word, but it's what several French people have called it.

The EU and France have not ordered any of the vaccines.

It's odd that France and the EU haven't bought any of this, considering it's a French product.

Religion has special rights to believe whatever stupidity they want and to spew it to anyone and everyone. People have been allowed to kill their kids with a lack of medical care because of their beliefs.

Politicians can spew whatever BS they want and have immunity. Elizabeth Warren and a couple of others come to mind when they were given absolute immunity for libeling and slandering the Covington Kids after the facts were proven.

Then we have to think about all of the politicians who blatantly violate their own C-19 rules. I mean, it can't be that bad if you can "kick it" with celebs without masks as long as it's at a maskless music festival.

We were told, even on this site, that you can't get C-19 if you loot and riot as part of BLM and Antifa.

Get rid of Section 230 and we go back to the blatant disticntion between publisher and platform. You and I discussed the 2 lawsuits and the differing outcomes, which created Section 230.

The publisher lawsuit said that because the site had editorial control of what was posted, they were responsible. It had nothing to do with editorial control prior to posting or being paid to post.

The platform lawsuit didn't editorialize or control posts, so the site was exempt from libel suits.

Any of this ringing a bell?

Even prior to Section 230, but a publisher and a platform had a legal obligation to remove certain content, such as kiddie porn, and whatnot.
