RE: Nancy Pelosi's Husband Attacked with Hammerposted in Politics & Debate
It sounds like the accused, David DePape, is actually one of yours, not ours.
He was born and raised in British Columbia, before moving to Berkley, CA 20 years ago. Neither is known as conservative hotbeds.
He's a member of the Green party.
He had a US flag - pride flag (combination flag) hanging in front of his house.
He's a nudism activist.
He makes "hemp jewelry", whatever that is.
He has 2 old school buses on the property where he lives, one of which advertises "natural addiction treatments" on both sides, according to NBC.
He was a regular attendee at the Burning Man Festival.

RE: Nancy Pelosi's Husband Attacked with Hammerposted in Politics & Debate
I guess you forgot that your beloved Antifa has attacked Democrats too, even though your guys shield them.
Didn't they also spray paint "Democrats get the bullet too" or some such shit?
Also, unlike Dems, Repubs at the highest levels don't fund bailing out criminals.
As we saw in New York, your side loves people who attack others with hammers. You also love people who attack members of Congress.

RE: covid vaxx don't stop covid, says NY Supreme Courtposted in Health & Fitness
If you read the thread in the Politics section, the court ruled that it was purely political since Mayor Adams was quite selective in who had to obey the vaxx mandate.
Athletes and other celebs were exempt from the vaxx mandate, as if they were immune, as a class, from covid.
The court ruled the vaxx mandate was about compliance, not health.
Also, the NYC Health Commissioner does not have the power to alter employee contracts or fire people, according to the court.

RE: New York State Supreme Court reinstates ALL unvaxxed NYC employeesposted in Politics & Debate
NYC has refused to follow the court ruling, and keeps vaxx mandate in place.
Mayor Adams says the city will appeal to the full court.

RE: covid vaxx don't stop covid, says NY Supreme Courtposted in Health & Fitness
I posted about this in the Politics section.
The court decision was well laid out, pointing to several sources, including the CDC's own information and guidelines.
As discussed in another thread in the Politics section, "prevents" is a total lie. "Reduces" is more accurate.

Washington DC to allow illegals to voteposted in Politics & Debate
Washington DC will allow anyone living there for 30 days or more to vote in its local elections.
Of course, this will include illegals that they don't want living there because they aren't a border town.

New York State Supreme Court reinstates ALL unvaxxed NYC employeesposted in Politics & Debate
The NY State Supreme court has reinstated ALL unvaxxed NYC gov employees. The fired city employees will get back pay, benefits, and seniority for the time they were fired.
They even quoted Joe Biden saying the pandemic is over.
They also talked about how the CDC made up "guidelines" that were exactly the same for vaxxed, unvaxxed and/or natural immunity.
They said that the vaxx mandate was not about health, but about compliance.
The health commissioner did NOT have the authority to alter employee contracts or fire people.
The mayor did NOT have the authority to pick and choose who had to obey the vaxx mandate and who did not. This was an issue because Mayor Adams exempted athletes, actors, etc from the vaxx mandates.
NOTE: This lawsuit is only about NYC employees, contractors and subcontractors. Private sector employees are doing their own lawsuit.
