I'm not sure if you noticed, but deaths at the border skyrocketed as soon as Biden came into office, per the chart shown by Cruz. You can find the same sort of charts in pretty much every hearing on the sourthern border.

If border patrol officers are being reassigned to babysitting jobs, then they can't be patrolling the border. I don't know how that confuses you.

Biden's border policies are why we have seen a massive skyrocketing of illegals crossing the southern border, compared to every other previous President. As seen with the chart Cruz showed with the death chart, it started immediately as Biden took office.

Also, much of my info comes from House and Senate hearings "broadcast" by Forbes Breaking News on YouTube, while I'm working on this site and doing my IRL job. I do not doubt that "over 90%" refers to drugs actually caught at PoEs vs caught away from PoEs.

"Entering" is the term that is often used in these hearings when they refer to drugs that actually make it into the interior of the US and get into the hands of the drug dealers.

In the video, Ted Cruz questioned the DEA woman about problems of Border patrol agents being taken from the border so they can babysit the illegals. I don't know her title or name, but she's clearly very high in the DEA.

I'm pretty much only referring to the southern border aka Mexico. This is where, according to the government and politicians on both sides, say that most illegal drugs come across.

By lax border patrols and policies, I'm talking about border patrol officers spending more time away from the border and more time with those caught and in custody.

If you go to YouTube and look for Forbes Breaking News, they play (usually live) the various House and Senate hearings, without editing or editorial bs. I prefer straight from the horse's mouth.

They almost never say "caught" but simply say "entering".

Even saying "caught" is quite dishonest since Biden has reduced border patrols so we have more gotaways than we should.

I have no idea how other Admins have reported the figures, but we do know that even by their own figures, more gotaways are flooding across the border than under any previous President.

Maybe, but how do you know if you are catching 99% of the fentanyl entering via points of entry or 1%? You only know what you are catching.

If you catch 100 tons per day, who is to say what percentage that is of all the drugs entering via PoEs?

The only thing the government knows is how much they caught and which PoE they caught it at.

I think they want us to believe that everything comes through the PoEs to justify the lax border security along 95% of the border.

What I do dispute is how they "know" how much drugs come into the US that they don't catch.

If you don't catch it, who is to say that your numbers are correct? Why can't the other side say that over 90% of drugs coming into the US are from "gotaways"?

I say that 488 Quintrillion metric tons of fentanyl, per hour, comes across the border via gotaways. Prove me wrong.

My theory is just as sound as your theory that over 90% of fentanyl (and meth) come through via points of entry.

Unless you can prove the actual amounts of coming via both ways, you are just talking out of your ass.
