I have a few suggestions:

Reboot into SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING (F8) and try again

  Turn your cookies on
• or -
  Use a different browser.  Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, Avant, SeaMonkey are all good ones (when they work).
• or -
  lower your security level one level to allow the cookies

In some cases FOLDERS are required.  Some examples of this are collections of videos, and DVD rips which are a set of VOB files.  However, if a torrent contains just one movie, I think it would be best to avoid putting that movie in a folder.  I'm now seeding 1875 torrents, and struggling to double that.  It is quite a bit more difficult to manage directories (folders) than it is to manage and organize and search for files that are all lumped in one directory.

I always try to make EVERYONE happy, and I think I have a solution that would make everyone happy.
Some torrents contain the movie AND screenshots and text files related to that movie.  This requires a FOLDER, however, if the MOVIE was NOT in a folder but the screenshots were, that should make everyone happy.  Here is an example:

Instead of:
c:\DOWNLOADS\HugeCocks
containing files
Hugecocks.avi
HC1.jpg
HC2.jpg
HC.txt

it could be:
c:\DOWNLOADS
containing
Hugecocks.avi
and the subdirectory \HugeCocks
c:\DOWNLOADS\HugeCocks
containing
HC1.jpg
HC2.jpg
HC.txt

So the end result would be:
c:\DOWNLOADS
Hugecocks.avi
\Hugecocks\HC1.jpg
\Hugecocks\HC2.jpg
\Hugecocks\HC.txt

The idea being.. that all the movies would wind up in the DOWNLOADS directory.  With a set of subdirectories containing the "extra" files that are not required to view the movie.

A LONG time ago, hard drives cost quite a bit more.. and internet speeds were quite a bit slower.  Back then, it made sense to compress videos into either the WMV or RM format.  They are extremely similar.  The problem with both of them is that unless the proper encoding settings are chosen, the results of compressing to those formats are awful.  I once spent months finding the best settings, and I tried to get other people to use the best settings.  I got nothing buy fights from people resisting the RM format.  Because of the cost and speed improvements, the RM format is virtually dead (other than for LIVE streaming).

I wonder why the WMV format has not died also.  It does almost exactly the same thing to a video as RM does, resulting in the same degree and method of compression.  These WMV videos require several seconds of playing before they become viewable.  That is quite annoying.  WMV format is also dangerous because it allows nasty things like passwords, advertising, and malware to be inserted into it.  We have the MP4, AVI, MPG, MOV, FLV, and raw VOB formats.  I think the posting of WMV movies should be discouraged.  In fact, if you find a WMV movie, it is a red flag to indicate that the movie sucks.

There are several options in the PROFILE section.

I realize that some people have small video screens and slow connections and slow video cards.. but I have huge video screens and fast everything.
Could there be an option in the profile to show LARGE versions of the screenshots that show up in the upper right of the screen instead of thumbnails?

Also, to be real fancy.. instead of just showing a single screenshot.. it could have an automated OR manual slide show comprised of all the pictures associated with that torrent. :cheesy2:

Site owner "Ten Inch" Tom recently posted something about the pope blaming gays for all the problems in the church.  I suppose that might be true, considering that most Catholic priests are gay. But anyway, I thought Tom would get a kick out of these 3 REAL photos of the pope, especially the old one.

At the moment, the chat room seems to be down and I can't find any movies online.  That is probably a glitch that will be fixed within hours.

Anyway, I had some questions. I was considering uploading some non-porn material. The reason is that it is very good stuff, packaged up in a very "friendly" way. Specifically, I got ahold of every episode of the HBO series the Sopranos, without commercials, and the uncensored versions.  The quality is as good as broadcast quality.  I was able to get 8 episodes on each DVD, which takes up 8 DVDs.  Would that be something good to upload?

I got ahold of "Pirates of The Caribbean - On Stranger Tides" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", but I guess those two both violate the Blockbuster rule.

Heh.. wouldn't all Tom Cruise movies qualify as being gay movies?

• by the way, there is a new movie about porn that is not porn, it is an attempt at comedy.  It is called "Bucky Larson - Born To Be A Star" and it is produced by Adam Sandler.  I have read several reviews of this movie, and the consensus is that it is not funny at all, and is the worst movie of 2011 so far.  The weird thing is, this movie is posted all over the internet, by dozens of different "groups" with different file sizes and formats.  But, ALL of them are fake!  I have never come across a movie that was so aggressively posted as fakes.  Also, many version of it have some embedded WMV code which tells you to go to a certain website to get a special player for the movie.  Don't believe it!  They are trying to trick you into installing some malware which will make your computer unbootable until you clean your drive by making it a slave to a clean drive and scanning it for malware.  One reason I love gaytorrent.ru / GTRU.net so much is that all the movies are REAL and there is no malware here.
