I downloaded a torrent the other day (https://www.gaytorrent.ru/details.php?id=c5f8b4b5f0a68a8bc1a7849010420a9ec0daf6ff4ca68aaf) and noticed the guy looked quite young. I did a search on GT for other sets and there are some with slightly older and some with slightly younger looking guys. Then I started looking into it and googling the guy and his website, and found this news article: https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/florida-keys/article57581173.html

To summarise, the guy was found guilty of having a metric fuckload of child porn all over his drives, some or all of which he took himself. The article (from 2016) was before his sentencing, but said he would likely get between 5 and 20 years behind bars. So what about the ~50 torrents that are up on this site? Are they over 18? Are there any records kept from the photographer? Where, considering his websites are down? Even if there are records, can we be sure they're even legitimate?

It's all a bit worrying that someone could unknowingly download such content.

I see what you're saying about having overly strict rules.

Strict rules can be a real PitA, but in my experience, the quality of the tracker is usually proportional to the number of posting rules and restrictions. I definitely don't want the volume of content to decrease because that's one of the strong points of this site.

I'm not suggesting more rules, per se, but rather that as a community, we try to be a little more descriptive and careful when uploading. I mean, there are a lot of torrents that are placed in totally the wrong category. I don't think it would take much to try to do a little better.

I acknowledge that GayTorrent is the largest and most active tracker in its class, and that's really great.

But some aspects are very lacking compared to some other sites. Please don't take any of the below as criticism, it's just observation and suggestion.

From the perspective of uploaders, the meta information here is very often very poor. Descriptions are often inaccurate, incomplete, or missing entirely. Same goes for screenshots, especially in packs. I won't drop any names, but there is another adult tracker I use where every single uploaded torrent has a meticulously crafted description, keywords, categories, screenshots, and thumbnails. Most importantly, in torrent packs containing several videos, screenshots/thumbnails are practically always present for all included files under a "screens" subfolder. This makes browsing so much easier and pleasurable.

From the perspective of the site, a few things are cumbersome. As an example, browsing for a category. Each uploaded torrent has one or more categories. My observation suggests that there is a primary categories, and a number of ordered subcategories. For example, if a torrent is listed as (Primary) Amateur, (Secondary 1) Hunks, (Secondary 2) Wrestling, (Secondary 3) Fetish, then listing torrents under "Fetish" will not return the torrent, since the primary category is "Amateur". One needs to go into Browse->Advanced->Main Category (All) -> Sub category search depth (All) -> Must be included ("Fetish"). This is really strange. If the torrent lists "Fetish" as a category, primary or otherwise, then searching for "Fetish" should return it as a result. I don't see why there needs to be a distinction between primary and secondary categories, and I certainly don't see why the subcategories need to be hierarchical.
Moreover, this advanced search feature doesn't always seem to work. For example: I go Main(All)->Depth(All)->Included("BDSM") and I look at all the new torrents. Great. Then I go Main(All)->Depth(All)->Included("Fetish"), and I look at the results. I can see torrents with "BDSM" listed in the subcategories that did not appear in the first search. I have observed this very frequently.

This is a great site and I have transferred over 3TB here. I think we can choose to take a little personal responsibility when uploading torrents, especially large torrents and packs, and the community will be better for it.

In the search options, it would be good to have an option to exclude certain sections or words. So even if all other criteria are matched, if anything in the exclusions is triggered, the torrent is not shown. I would definitely like to sticky a few categories in there.

1. When weights are all over the place, all mixed up, all over the floor, and I spend half my previous little workout time looking for what I need.
2. When people put their towel(s) on equipment and walk away.
3. When one person is using 8 pieces of equipment in a circuit, and nobody can use any of them
4. When people don't put away the weights they were using.
5. When someone is using a piece of equipment, where they could just as easily be using a different piece of equipment, when I need the thing they're using. e.g. when they use the customisable EZ-bar loaded up to less than 30kg, when there are pre-loaded EZ-bars up to 30kg in 2.5kg increments, need I want something like 50kg+.
6. When they walk around all super-macho like they're god's gift, but really they come off looking like a tool.

Saw the movie, haven't read the books.

The movie is REALLY slowly paced. You could probably condense it down to about 20 minutes. The dialogue is WAY over the top, well beyond the point of ridiculousness. The sex is pretty good. She's hot, he's hot, it's all hot.

The bondage/S&M is all pretty tame except right at the end, but even then it's not extreme or anything.

Let's just say I wasn't angry I saw it, but I won't be rushing out to watch it again. I'll probably download it when it comes out in HQ, but honestly don't even know if I'll ever get around to watching it again.

But if you can spare the time and the money, why not. It's not terrible.
