I confessed to my straight guy after nine years of friendship, six years of loving him, and it worked out. Not in the way I'd like, of course, he's straight, but we're still friends more than a year later. Not much has changed in our relationship except that I'm not keeping a secret anymore. I know it probably wouldn't work out for everyone, it could create a lot of awkwardness, and I won't pretend there hasn't been any between us, but we've always been emotionally close.

RE: Am I gay?
I felt the same when I was around your age. I was physically attracted to men but romantically more interested in women, mainly because I had that fantasy of having a wife, kids, a dog and a house in the suburbs. It just seemed like what I was supposed to do. Also, as much as I lusted, I'd never had feelings of more than friendship for a guy, at least not that I could recognize. It wasn't until I was in college that my feelings started to change, and I became romantically interested in men.

RE: Straight guys in gay porn; are the really straight?
Most are probably gay, but some are certainly straight, or at least identify that way. Let's take James Oak, Matt Ramsey, Jeremy Bilding, or Criss Strokes for example. Now known as Michael Vegas, Peter North, Ryan Driller and… still Criss Strokes, but whatever... after they made it big enough in gay porn to transition to fucking the people they actually like to fuck for money. Just because they had sex with men doesn't make them gay, it doesn't even make them bisexual, it just means they like money and aren't totally grossed out by sex with men.
I consider myself gay but I've had sex with women. It's not something I really want to do again because it doesn't interest me, but the idea of it doesn't gross me out and it might happen again. It wouldn't take that much money to get me to do it again.
Or hell, pretty much every guy on Corbin Fisher is forced to do straight scenes these days, even the obviously 100% gay ones, and no one's saying they must be bisexual.
So yeah, some straight men have sex with other men for money. Even on film. No, that doesn't mean your straight friend's going to bang you or that you can turn straight people gay.
