Canada fixed that in the 1970s with fully gender-neutral laws about sexual assault. And yes, the change came from feminist pressure. The fact that a woman could not be accused or convicted of of any crime for forcing sex on a 14 year old boy under the law at the time was one of the examples they used of how gender-unequal laws about rape hurt men as well as women.

They're like that at least in part because society made them into those people by elevating them into demigods through media worship or mammon worship. They may have marginally better personal values than the elites to the centre-right and far right, but they're values that only rarely shine through the haze of being a rich entitled prick.
