I figured out an answer:
With other browsers, when you click on a torrent, it automatically goes to SAVE it, and when you click on the saved file, Utorrent starts.

With BRAVE (which is by far my favorite browser - and I have tried every one there is) instead of automatically SAVING the torrent file, it
gives you a CHOICE to either:
START  or  SAVE. 
If you click on START, then the torrent winds up being sucked into BRAVE's own primitive torrent client which sucks.
If you click on SAVE, the torrent is processed like it is with other browsers - and in my case gets loaded into Utorrent.

So, the answer is.. the BRAVE browser gives you the option to START a torrent with it's built in torrent client or SAVE and use your 3rd party torrent client.    CLICK ON SAVE

There is no way that I know of to change the default option. If you want to search including dead, this is something that you need to specify manually on each search.

The SSL tracker is a more secure option. Some VPN providers, certain torrent clients, and some proxy services don't play well with the SSL tracker. I would suggest enabling the SSL tracker option so that all new .torrent files that you download will tell your torrent client to use the SSL tracker by default.

If you want to test whether or not you will have issues with the SSL tracker option, you can try changing the tracker URL in your torrent client for an existing torrent. To do this, simply change the beginning of the URL.

If you are able to switch over to the SSL tracker without any issue, then I would recommend that you change ALL your existing torrents over to the SSL tracker, and enable that option so that all future downloads are automatically branded with the SSL tracker, instead of the regular tracker.

I'm doing some testing.  So far, I've found that in the above, it is CRITICAL that the TW version is HTTP while the RU version is HTTPS  The S is for secure.  If you put the S on the TW version, you will not get anything.  Both trackers can be used at the same time.  The TW version seems to pull a few more peers.  Once the peers are found, deleting the trackers from the client will not stop the download - but will briefly pause it for some reason.  In Utorrent, make sure you put a blank like between trackers.  I go to ADD TRACKER, CTRL+X, CTRL+V, CTRL+V (again) making sure there is a line between the two.  Edit one of the RU versions to be a TW:2710  with http instead of https

The mystery that eludes me is why bittorrent and utorrent which look exactly alike, often find different peers.  Bittorrent downloads faster, while Utorrent uploads a LOT faster.

A lot of ISPs still supply crappy old routers that don't match the speeds promised.  This is a huge problem in the UK.

On that CD, there is an app called NT Password Recovery Manager I believe it is. This is the tool that I have used many, many times to simply remove a Windows password to grant you easy access.

Remember when the Windows login password could be defeated.. just by pressing the ESC key?  Wow.

That happens a lot, people rip things from other site and try to compile them into a collection.  Very Tricky.

Found the solution:
STOP all the active torrents and re-start them.

When you stop them, it reveals any torrents which are in an error state.
Torrents which are in an error state but not tagged as being "bad" will jam up your transfers.
Once tagged, they don't cause a problem.  Then you can fix the torrents by moving files and re-checking and starting them again.
