Thank you for your post! Very interesting. I am sorry to hear that people at a community were judgmental. Unfortunately, this is so common in Christian communities, in spite of the fact the Big Guy taught to leave all judgments to the Bigger Guy... I particularly dislike the "magic circle" attitude some communities have: to be very involved to impress the pastor and being at the "right side" of the community, as you said.
As per the relationship between belief and unbelief. Once a wise guy gave this definition of faith: faith is the dialogue between the believer and the unbeliever who live within me. I find this profoundly telling.

I am sorry to read your struggles with your father, and I can totally relate. I have absolutely zero memories of my father OR my mother hugging me. When, lately after college, I confronted them about that, they confirmed to me they never did, it was not part of their personality or parenthood skills. Relationship with them was very brainy, just words and no physical contact. I think my need of a partner with whom having not only sex but also lots of tender moments and cuddling comes from that.

I know this topic is old, but I felt like replying to it anyway. I wanted to thank you for having posted the info about Rev Roher election as bishop of ELCA Sierra pacific synod. I was raised atheist (Father was physics professor) but approached ELCA on my own as part of my quest. In was pretty involved in the church until I moved to Europe. Since I belong(ed) to the same synod, I personally met Megan at assemblies and events, and even the other ELCA LGBTQ+ Californian bishop, Guy Erwin. Fine people. I think ELCA is doing a good job in opening church doors to gay couples and gay ministers. Very late, of course, but better late than never! Sierra Pacific synod is very diverse in terms of LGBTQ+ acceptance by the different parishes and communities. Clearly, Silicon Valley is a very peculiar reality.
I take this opportunity also to express my appreciation for this thread, "Religion and Philosophy". I think it is important for gay people to freely express they concern, struggles, but also positive experiences within religious contexts. I'd hope this threat to be more active. Best,

Thank you for your help and patience! However, I am sorry to say that I do not fully understand your hints. In particular, I would prefer to treat separately the two issues (my problem with uploading a new torrent, and the fact that I have deleted my old torrents as I wrote on the “Donwload” page of the Forum).
So, concerning only my problem with uploading the new torrent, Kuro World: Are you telling me that I have to re-create the torrent, re-create the page on gaytorrent, etc? Anyway, I can easily re-create the torrent connected to my folder “Kuro World”, but when it will be the time for me to seed the torrent, I will face the same the problem as before: I will click on the link on this page (https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?returnto=%2Fmytorrents.php&id=a4afa75023f664acf3f21ef1edbe7c566f7e5cbdbf6b091ecac8cd68d0079962), I will download the torrent file, I will click on this torrent file, and Deluge (my torrent software) will automatically open with the torrent file in downloading, and not in seeding.
So, to make a long story short: how can I tell Deluge to seed a torrent, and not to download it?

I have stopped the process and erased the torrent. But how can I "open your client and seed"? If I click on the torrent file, the program automatically tries to download it, not to seed it...

Hi All, I think I have a problem.
By mistake I have deleted the torrents on the torrent software (Deluge) I use [I am having troubles with uploading a new torrent on gaytor.rent, and in the trial-and-error process I have cancelled all the torrents I had, e.g. 13 in total].
On my pc I still have the torrent files and the downloaded files (videos and images) connected to each torrent. I would like to seed these files again, but I am afraid that if I click on the torrent file, then Deluge download again all the files (although I have them already) and consequently I run out of download amount and ratio. What can I do? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Sorry to bother, but I need to ask if somebody can explain me, even in DM, how to upload. I have a folder with Bara comics I would like to upload. But I do not know how to "transform" this folder into a torrent. I read the page about uploading, and... I have understood virtually nothing. I would really need a step-by-step helping hand.

Thank you very much to all of you who replied to my help request with such kind and explicative answers. Just to make sure that I have properly understood: the pic shows my torrent app screen. Does it mean I am seeding, i.e., sharing my files? If yes, should I keep the app running (i.e., my pc on) as long as possible? But what if no user download from me? Does seeding count even if nobody download things from me? Because clearly I have no control nor responsibility over that... thank you again!

@john32123666 thank you so much. All the 4 files I have downloaded from Gaytorrent are seeding, but I don't know if somebody is downloading them from me or not... Also, I cannot maintain my pc on all the time; does this affect my seeding? Thank you again.
