RE: Libtard VS Liberal
that was a lot of effort to define a word that has no actual meaning in the political world.
It does actually, sorry, but you're wrong… Especially when we have people on here saying it's offensive. Just like when they claim the word "nutjob" has no political meaning, and then some claim it's offensive, because the left is offended by "nutjob," just like they're offended by everything. Conservatives don't get offended by anything because they KNOW it isn't True. Liberals get offended by such terms because they KNOW it's True. Otherwise they wouldn't care. We know what you're doing. It isn't going to work.
nah, as someone who leans right, I'm still pretty sure I would never really take someone who uses the word "libtard" let alone tries to give it an actual definition seriously
u tried tho -

RE: I LOVE Trump! Why?
Well that's nice. He hasn't done anything to earn my love yet, but I'm glad he has for yours. I don't have anything against him, either. I just find that a lot of his supporters tend to be die-hard and extremely passionate about it.. things get pretty dangerous when people lose their objectivity.

RE: Kissing
virtually zero?
unless you have bleeding sores in your mouth and the person your kissing has bleeding sores and both the bleeding sores somehow meet during the kiss, you don't catch HIV through kissing. -
RE: Is the Confederate Flag a Symbol of Racism or History?
i just kind of see this confederate flag thing as the result of bad apples spoiling the whole bunch
there are people who use the flag as a symbol of their traditions, sure. there are also people who use the flag as a symbol of hate, racism, or in protest against America. Since I'm not going to go and ask everyone with the flag their intentions, it just leaves a "maybe" in my head about the people who own it.
to me the symbol isn't worth all the negative association connected to it. southern tradition is rich and I don't see the necessity of a flag to symbolize it or any other culture for that matter.
and I don't really consider it erasing history. I don't think many people are out there asking for the flag to be removed from history textbooks or databases. The swastika is arguably a much more offensive symbol and we don't go and see it waved all over the place anymore- that doesn't mean we forgot it. Most people know what a swastika is.

RE: Is it racist to post that you're not interested in black/asian/other non-whites?
So what about people who aren't interested in members of their OWN race? Is this also racism?… I'm personally in a situation where I'm not attracted to members of my own race (generally speaking). This doesn't mean I hate my own features, or think they are ugly, it just means I have no attraction for them.
The fact that it's your own race doesn't really change things. You're using race as a motivation for what you find attractive. It's still just as implicitly racist as people who find their own race attractive over others.
Uhhh, this is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever read.
And why exactly do you feel this way?.. It's almost like you've said "It's racist because I said so!".. -
RE: Is it racist to post that you're not interested in black/asian/other non-whites?
It's 100% racist. I think anyone who attempts to say that they are disinterested in a whole race of people is more racist than they'd like to admit, and is trying to make themselves feel better about their blatant disregard for a whole race. Think of how many times you see "no black" or "no asian", and then think about how many times you've seen "no whites"… The difference is quite obvious.
That's just an anecdote. We've all had different experiences. I live in a very mixed neighborhood in NYC and it's way more common for me to see black guys who are only into other black guys than any other kind of hangup. Just because you have not seen the same thing doesn't really make it a universal trend.
Every time someone says they aren't interested in a whole race, it's almost always people of color. Are people trying to imply that whites are better looking than everyone else? Does that imply that whites are better than everyone else? Doesn't that sound kind of racist to you?
Not really, like I said earlier, I see poc with non-white preferences ALL THE TIME. Having a preference =/= you hate that race or think it's shittier than yours or will mistreat people because of their race.
I myself don't typically date people of the same race as me, and neither has my boyfriend. However, we both have talked about instances of us being attracted to people of the same race as us. Yes, we both admit that they are rare instances of attraction, however neither one of us has completely disregarded a whole race as not attractive, because it's not possible to have judged every single member of a race. If you think you aren't attracted to a race, you're solely judging on stereotypes such as "chink" eyes, or big noses or big lips. If I didn't date white guys solely because I think every white guy has small lips and a small dick, I'd look pretty insensitive and ignorant, and like an overall jackass.
It doesn't have anything to do with disregarding a whole race as unattractive. I can acknowledge tons of guys who would generally be seen as attractive, whom I am simply on my own, not attracted to. Attraction is an important part of a relationship and the last thing I'd ever want to do is be with someone who's just with me because they don't want to look racist to people like you. If someone has never seen a black person they are attracted to, who are you to say they're not allowed to prefer nonblacks because they haven't seen EVERY black person there is out there?
I think it's fair to say that not everyone in a certain race is gonna appeal to you. I think it's also safe to say that members of one race are going to appeal to you more than members of another race. That's fine, not everyone has to be your cup of tea. But to say a whole race of people doesn't interest you is just ignorant. Think of how many different looking white people there are… Would it be fair to say that you aren't interested in any of them? It's exactly the same with different races.
So what about people who aren't interested in members of their OWN race? Is this also racism?… I'm personally in a situation where I'm not attracted to members of my own race (generally speaking). This doesn't mean I hate my own features, or think they are ugly, it just means I have no attraction for them.
