and seed it to the preferred client you are using ...

Peers from preferences/connection and 250/50/4 bandwidth for global max connection default values ...
You can also run test from set-up guide to refresh your status...
In case you are in seedbox, there might be a solution by reading "connectivity setting" on how to ... [do a web-search] ...

It depends and relies on bandwidth and the peers in swarm you/them connected ...
Sometimes peers are/have limiting/limited bandwidth or the traffic ...
Just find a large torrent w/ few seeders and bunch of leechers, stop the torrent w/ inactive seeding ...
The less activity the more you gain ...
I am partially seeding a partial part of 8 Gb of 205 GB about a couple of days w/c I uploaded 40 GB of that and it helps ...

while selected parts only [your client indicates 100% completed of the file you selected]
and indicates you as a leecher because you didn't completed the whole torrent parts ...
you are a part of seeder and a leecher because you are sharing the parts ...
otherwise you are still downloading ...

A selected part of torrent indicates completed from your clients but it will indicate as partial download ...

As part of your status here :
Torrent that is fully downloaded indicates up arrow [seeding/snatched]

Torrent that is partial seeding indicates down arrow leeching] ...

...

Now if leeching while seeding bothers you, simply stop the torrent [to free slot] and leeching status will be cleared in your profile ...
Some torrent will take 1 hr or half hr to update ...
