What is freeleech and how can it help my ratio?
Seed bonus points can be used to put a torrent on freeleech status for a certain period of time. Our system also periodically selects torrents to add to this list randomly. Freeleech torrents do NOT count against your ratio (download amountl) as long as it remains on freeleech.
If you seed a freeleech torrent, you will continue to receive upload credit if others download it.
If you are still downloading when a freeleech torrent converts back to regular torrent status, only the portion that remains to be downloaded will count against your ratio.
Users with ratios in gracetime or removed download privileges can still download freeleech torrents, one at a time. By seeding them, you can improve your ratio.
Only torrents that are older than one week can be placed on freeleech.
Seed bonus points used to put a torrent on freeleech are not given to the original uploader, but are instead is a community donation for freeleech by all users.
