@raphjd It's so cute watching you pretending to support your "thesis." And the hole just gets deeper.

@raphjd Your constant assertion that the modern day Democratic Party is somehow the same as it was in the 19th century is only further proof that you are unable to hold your own in serious discussions. Just give up.

Landowners (male and/or female) had the vote, before the general public.
Men (generally speaking) only got the vote, in the US and UK, because we had the draft and bucket lines forced on us.No. Not in the US. All men (theoretically) got the vote with the passage of the 14th Amendment in 1868. It has nothing to do with the draft.

Women can vote. In fact, poor women got the right to vote without any responsibilities, unlike poor men who had to accept the draft and bucket lines. Just having a pussy was enough for them to be able to vote. Also, for the longest time, most women didn't want the right to vote. You also forget that voting was a privilege for landowners, not for the average person. Women owned over 70% of the pubs and inns (until about 1900 when men became the vast majority of owners), which gave them the right to vote.
Very amusing when you refer to the university professor as uneducated. But whatever. Not much of what you write matters much.
Let's start here. Do you not see any gaps in your "scholarly" timeline of voting rights? By your description, only landowners were allowed to vote in 1919? Or are you referring to a country other than the US?
You might want to read up on the history of voting rights before you commit yourself to print. Would save you further embarrassment.

Anti-murder of babies should be a no-brainer.
I don't know any liberal who murders babies. Whether or not an embryo is a baby or not is a religious vs scientific interpretation. And banning abortion is a perfect example of how the right always tries to legislate their morality.
"Don't say gay" is something you people made up.
Read the Florida law. Whatever you want to call it, it is meant to prevent discussions of LGBTQ+ issues in schools. Whether you agree with it or not, it is a again an example of the right legislating their morality.
You people also banned books, like To Kill A Mockingbird, Huck Finn, and many more because they used words that offended you.
I, and many other liberals, do not agree with this kind of censorship. In fact, To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the books targeted by Moms for Liberty.
I would venture to say that "morality laws" and imposing norms and religious beliefs is more of a conservative thing.
You people are enforcing your morals on the rest of us via the law; ie criminalizing disagreeing with trans dogma.
Please do show us where that law has been enacted. Oh right. You can't. It doesn't exist.
Conservatives have a proven track record of trying to impose their morality and beliefs on the rest of the world. Which "liberal" laws do you object to? Gay marriage? Equal pay for women? Desegregation? Universal suffrage?
Be honest. This is not the hill you want to die on

Libs 100% believe that their morality is a universal truth. That's why they feel it's justified to impose it on the rest of the world
Where to begin with the sheer hypocrisy of that statement? Anti-abortion laws; "don't say gay"; book bans; the illegality of marijuana; the Alabama ruling that a fertilized egg is legally a human; Ghana's recent criminalization of even identifying as LGBTQ+? I would venture to say that "morality laws" and imposing perceived norms and religious beliefs is more of a conservative thing. Liberals in America often need to remind conservative Christians that their god tells them what they can't do - not the rest of us.

I am basing my worldview on what you people say and do.
As am I; and it's not as flattering as you seem to think it is. You can try to hide your butt-hurt, white male grievances behind random rantings picked up trolling the usual sites, but people like me are WOKE. We see you
And besides, why do you care what I think? If I am such an idiot, just ignore me.

Even the name itself, the "democrats", as if they are somehow more democratic than the opposition. Rather ironic when much of their agenda is explicitly anti-democratic (representing the interests of minorities rather than the interests of the democratic majority, and often at the expense thereof)
It's just a name. I would like to know more about this anti-democratic "agenda" that they have? Would it be banning abortion? Would it be gerrymandering? Perhaps voter suppression laws? In which states, Red or Blue, is there a disproportionate number of Congressional representatives compared to the number of votes cast? And do tell which minorities in the US have laws that favor their interests while trampling on the rights of the majority ("often"...you said)?
And out of curiosity, do you believe "three wolves and a sheep shouldn't be able to vote what's for lunch," or are you just a more straightforward "majority rules" kind of guy?

Sorry, but you do have Trump Derangement Syndrom.
Your skewed view of the world is so transparent. The moral and intellectual acrobatics you MAGA-types have had to go through to make excuses for your orange fΓΌhrer have left you with no alternative than to invent a label for sane people who can see right through you. That's what narcissists and sociopaths do; the rest of the world is crazy - not me! It's very amusing.

A few months ago a friend confessed to me that the older he got, the more right-leaning he became.
This has been happening from the beginning of time. I wouldn't say people "get" more conservative. I think the world changes, and people don't so much. Therefore, they seem conservative because they are old-fashioned and out-of-step with the times.
This is why young people are eagerly waiting for us to die

To me it seems clear that a lot of the support the left gets is not based on whether their arguments are sound, but rather on their public image being presented as "this is who you vote for if you're a good person".
"It seems to me" and "sound arguments" are opinion. I don't see any reason to debate something with you that you seem to have already made your mind up about. I'm gathering that you are an educated, well-read individual, so I doubt that I have anything more to offer that you haven't read already. You see the world one way based on your experiences; I don't concur for the same reason.

The right looks towards individual freedom and personal agency to solve problems, whereas the left looks towards authority to impose solutions.
This is a nice theory, but in practice the right does not have a great track record with individual freedoms unless you would disagree that fascism, nationalism, Putinism, are on the right. I would assert that the more conservative the country is, the more likely there are going to be anti-gay, anti-woman, and anti-minority laws. American conservatives are big on wanting what they consider their rights preserved, but don't seem to mind treading on others'.

The right favors cold hard truths, whereas the left seems more concerned with optics and embellishment.
What "cold hard truths" are you speaking of? I'm very curious what "facts" the right accept that the left does not?
"Optics and embellishment." Examples please? And are you saying that the right, unlike other poltical movements, is not interested in "optics and embellishment"?

Now you even have LGBTQ+ people standing shoulder to shoulder with people who believe homosexuality should carry the death penalty.
You've written a lot, and I appreciate your civility and openness to actual discussion. I'd like to respond to points you've raised individually after some clarification. I'm assuming that the above phrase has something to do with certain members of the LGVTQ+ community supporting Palestinian rights? Is that correct? And if so, do you think that all Muslims believe homosexuals should die? Do you not think that there are Christians who believe the same thing? And more importantly, do you think someone's religious beliefs should determine how they are treated? For example, as a gay person should I think it's ok for a radical Muslim who wishes me harm to be killed along with this entire family and all his neighbors?
Or were you referring to something else?

Keep proving that you suffer from extreme TDS.
By that logic, you suffer from PDS. Coming up with a bogus acronym is completely unnecessary. I fucking hate, as do most intelligent people. That fact that you don't says much more about your weaknesses than they do mine. As has been pointed out, if he were a manager at McDonalds, he would've been fired with the first grab of the pussy.

You have a pathological need to believe Trump is evil, so you refuse to watch/read anything that proves otherwise.
I don't need to read or see anything that someone else says about Trump to know that he is evil. He opens his mouth all the time and just lets it spew forward. I will never forgive the Americans who are stupid to be taken in by this piece of shit grifter. I will never understand. Never. And neither will history.
