I think the "Introductions/Hello" messages can be positive and useful – when, for example, you are greeted by people from your own city, state or country.  Have any real friendships been started that way?  Who knows.

Unfortunately, these message threads are also one of the most common areas for misuse from members who have fallen behind in their seeding ratios.  It's an abuse of the system to send greetings to members who joined GT, as in the following example, more than four years ago…    :afr:

On occasion when I do top not been a problem.  Not been much of a problem when I am getting fucked (95% 0f the time) but I am told I do a good job of milking the guy to help it along.
