Do you think that forced penetration of an unwilling individual (be it a boy or a girl) is the same as sexual activity in which one of the individuals is below the age of consent?

I currently live in a contry with public healthcare (Brazil), and while it's not perfect, there are several things that surprised me about this system that I think many people in the U.S. don't realize:

• Public health systems are basically not for profit. All money that comes into the system returns in some form, with no owners or shareholders taking a cut;

• Since the govenment pays for the patients medicine, it's in its best interest to lower the medicines price. That means generic drugs are prescribed whenever possible. While generic drugs are available in the U.S., they are not ofently prescribed since the system runs for profit and brand-name drugs are far more profitable;

• Public healthcare do not completly replace private healthcare, if nothing else it makes it more competitive. By providing a base level health standard, the system pushes the private sector out of the emergencies / basic healthcare and into state of the art treatments. And because there is always a fallback option in the public healthcare, the private options need to be resonably priced to convince people that it's even worth considering.

Needless to say, those points are all incredbly threatening to the owners and shareholders of the companies running healthcare in the U.S. Running a good public healthcare system requires killing profits for some very influential people. That is always a very difficult thing to do.

Didn't she say in some depoiment that Harvey raped her? That's a far greater offence than the generic sexual assault.

I don't want to sound like I'm defending her. I'm not. She should pay for whatever she did to the boy. But what did she do?

Unwanted touching, kissing, rubbing, groping? Forcing the boy to touch her or even fuck her? That's absolutly not the same as fucking the boy.

Also important is how many times did she commit a crime like this? Weinstein commited his crimes repeatdly and methodically.

Are you truly sugesting that she didn't receive the same treatment as Harvey because she's a woman?

It's possible to find them in the UK, too, although you'd have to really look for it. In Brazil they are also available, but it is so rare that many younger people don't even know they exist. They were phased out because the weather is so hot that the milk could go bad while being transported.

In Brazil, people:

Eat avocado with sugar
Eat sandwiches by holding them with a napkin (to avoid touching the bread)
Eat pizza with a plate, fork and knife (as if it were steak)
Carry a toothbrush and toothpaste to the office (to brush their teeth after lunch)
Throw used toilet papper into a basket that they keep next to the toilet (instead of flushing it)
