      @isdraugr:

      How could gays embrace nazism when homosexual men where mocked and killed by nazi?  :blink:

      Take a look at Politics and Debate and you can see for yourself.

      They're pretty easy to find, there are practically only two users spamming up the entire forum, not just by being responsible for 90% of the threads, but they're also responsible for 80% of the replies to their own threads.

    • Politcs and debate - and nazi/facist apologists

      I could write a very lengthy post here, but something tells me this post is going to get locked, possibly deleted. So much for freedom of speech.

      The topic at hand is facist-apologists and the politics and debate forum, the recent goings-on in Charlotville have shown to the world that yes, our forum has nazi/facist apologists. Now I'm not here to ask for people to get banned. Because go ahead, if you want to reveal yourself as a facist-apologist, go right ahead, the more people know, the better it is for others to avoid that person.

      So I don't want anyone banned.

      But I do want a second moderator to work the Politics and Debate forum, I am going to just state it outright. Raphjd is too involved in his own politics to moderate that forum properly. I'm not saying he should be removed, I'm saying he should have someone next to him. Because at it is now, he is not doing a good job by himself.

      @raphjd:

      Leftists committed terrorist acts on the day as well, but of course you will ignore than like always.

      You guys have been doing if for several years now.

      Really… so the leftists drove a truck into a crowd trying to kill as many as possible?

      Sorry Raphjd... you crossed a line. You are siding with facists, you are so desperate to change the goalposts and to shift blame, this is so fucking obvious that it's painful to see. You're a gay man, and you're defending facists... you really need to step back and ask yourself some questions. Is this really the hill you wish to die on?

      If the answer is yes, then just come out and admit that you're a facist.

      … and here we see how we have fucking nazi-apologists in our midst.

      Driving a car into a crowd, killing one, that's called a terrorist act when it's a muslim doing the driving, but when it's a nazi, nopes, let's be really quiet about.

      So big round of applause... congratulations gents, you're nazi-apologists. I bet you feel so fucking proud of yourselves now.

      @Frederick:

      How about being discriminated against for being a white male?   I've been the victim of that.  A month or two ago I posted a long message about how it was impossible for a white male to get a job working for the county where I live.

      Maybe it wasn't because you are white, or male… maybe it was because you're a homo... or just grossly incompetent.

    • Trump Administration claims Civil Rights Act of 1964 doesn't apply to LGBTQ indi

      On Wednesday, the Department of Justice filed an amicus brief in the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals arguing that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964does not prohibit discrimination against gay and bisexual employees. The DOJ’s brief was not solicited by the court or any party to the case. Rather, in an unusual move, the Trump administration elected to weigh in with an aggressively anti-gay stance, arguing that gay Americans have no protection against workplace discrimination under federal law. Its decision is unsurprising in light of Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ vigorous opposition to LGBTQ rights.

      Title VII does not explicitly outlaw sexual orientation discrimination in employment. However, it does forbid “discrimination … because of sex.” which the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission interprets to encompass anti-gay discrimination. For at least 15 years, many federal courts have agreed, and in April, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Title VII does, indeed, protect gay employees. Both the 7thCircuit and the EEOC relied on three theories of sex discrimination:

    • RE: Do you like or dislike tattoos?

      in general… I dislike them, because a lot of tattoos fade with age, or they never really looked all that good in the first place. They're also pretty risky because fashion and interests change.

      That favorite thing of yours, you wanted to get it printed onto your skin for all eternity... five years later, it's a painful reminder of what you no longer like. Same goes for names of lovers or loved ones. Something intricate and full of detail, because its very popular now, is going to be the tribal tattoo of the nineties in ten years.

      Tattoos... always a risk.

    • RE: How should I talk to people when I have nothing to say?

      @spam17:

      I knew a girl in college who everyone wanted to hang out with!

      Whenever she was around, the gathering was filled with laughter and meaning.

      Do you have any suggestions on how we can achieve something similar?

      ::)

      1. Be lighthearted when you meet people. Nobody wants to stick around someone who goes from zero to nuclear proliferation in less than five words. When meeting new people, talk about innocent stuff, like music, television, movies.
      2. Be optimistic at first. When you talk to people don't be overly critical or negative. You want those first moments to be about you being a fun guy to be around. So crack some jokes about small stuff, and be the guy who seems to really like random stuff.
      3. Be mysterious enough for people to wonder just how much you know, or have them guess just how big of a fan you are. Give them a hint, a taste, but make sure you let them know there's more to you. Make them want to know more about you. You're mysterious enough to invest time in.

      4. Steal other people's material. That girl you mentioned. Copy her material and make it your own. It works on opening-lines and subject. Just steal it and make it your own stuff.

      @mhorndisk:

      So what you are saying is, "nanny nanny boo boo and you guys are the kkk?" Seriously?

      It's the exact same tactic you use. So fuck that noise.

      I'm better than that, I'm not going to use shitty debating tactics anymore.

      So here's a lock.

    • RE: LEADER BOARDS: USER ANALYTICAL STATS on the POLITICS FORUM

      @mhorndisk:

      Yea so what if I say Obama is a Satanist? That isn't uncivil… It's his religion.

      No not going to do it… I'm not going to sink to that level. I feel bad for employing the same tactics.

      Hence the edit of this post.

      Let this be a post where I can explain that by wording things in a certain way, I can twist around openly calling someone a shitty human being and get away with a ton of unsavory stuff, while dancing the fine line of slandering and libelling someone.

      "I believe..."
      "I think..."
      "I'm not saying you are..."
      "Allegedly..."

      I will not go so low to prove a point. Though it is so goddamn appealing and easy to do.

      I guess Raphjd, strangeloop, mhorndisk, and frederick were right. Their completely peaceful group didn't do anything wrong, those 50 conservative protestors got drowned by the hundreds of liberal counter-protestors.

      Luckily nobody got injured, except by the heat and alcohol.

      It's funny because I have a "warned" next to my name, because they reported me to the mods for saying, "nobody cares what you think."

      No you got that warning because you were spmming up the board with inflammatory bullshit, posting numerous replies to your own threads all within the span of 15 minutes, and your constant name-calling.

      So… facts.

    • RE: Intolerable violation by PPPUCCI

      @raphjd:

      Umm, there have been threads created directly aimed at me and conservatives.

      You are a moderator, who is difficult to reach without making a topic specifically designed to draw your attention. You cannot be contacted through a private message directly, unless you have initiated it. I suspect you and frederick are in direct contact with one another, so there is even less need for this thread to exist, since you and frederick are able to communicate directly through private messages.

      But you made a claim about conservative posters being targeted directly through threads, please back your claim up. I want to see those multiple threads of a similar nature as this one aimed at a specific user, even naming that user in its thread title and having a clear accusation attached to it.

    • RE: Intolerable violation by PPPUCCI

      @raphjd:

      It was an accident due to the way the forum sometimes handle quotes, especially extended quotes.

      If purposely done for ill intent, then it would be a rule violation.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanlon's_razor

      Hanlon's razor is an aphorism expressed in various ways including "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity"[1][2] or "Don't assume bad intentions over neglect and misunderstanding." It recommends a way of eliminating unlikely explanations for a phenomenon (a philosophical razor).

      Luckily there aren't any rules about creating threads about a single user and ascribing malicious intent to that user.

      @raphjd:

      I'm surprised that the Huffington Post is complaining about this.   I mean, they wanted Hillary's vagina as president, so wouldn't Ivanka's vagina be better than Donald's penis?

      This is the (one of, with Yahoo) who purged male employees in the guise of feministic gender equality.

      So you endorse nepotism? Cool.

    • Conservative judge rules - teenage rape-victim has to serve 30 years in jail

      http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world-0/el-salvador-abortion-case-raped-woman-jailed-miscarriage-evelyn-beatriz-hern-ndez-cruz-prison-a7827891.html
      https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2017/jul/06/el-salvador-teen-rape-victim-sentenced-30-years-prison-stillbirth

      A teenage rape victim in El Salvador has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for murder after having a stillbirth, the latest in a long line of failures of justice against pregnant women in the Central American country.
      Evelyn Beatriz Hernandez Cruz, 19, from a small rural community in Cuscatlán, eastern El Salvador, was convicted on the grounds that failing to seek antenatal care amounted to murder.

      Hernandez, a high school student, gave birth into the toilet in April 2016 after falling ill with acute back and stomach pain.

      Hernandez, who at the time was 18, was in her third trimester, but hadn’t realised that she was pregnant. She had been repeatedly raped by a gang member over several months as part of a forced sexual relationship.

      And this is why you don't want conservative christians dictating laws, this is why the law should be based on secular and humanist principles. El Salvador has a problem.
