An excellent question indeed but are you arguing that a moral compass be included when soliciting campaign funds from a donor or is it just the fact it was Saudi Arabia that is infuriating to you. I know I would be upset if I heard a Republican candidate was accepting campaign donations from people/groups linked to neonazi propoganda or something equally extremist. Maybe I'm too pragmatic but "dirty" money is always going to find a way into a candidate's coffers. Some are greater concealed than others and the true origins are never discovered by the opposition or the media.

Can I justify HRC's acceptance of funds. Not really. Certainly can be a candidate flaw, but I assessed it as a low risk issue and a grey area whereas it's a clear cut issue with no gray area to you. Either way no one is satisfied because we all have different levels of risk we tolerate.

The immediate worry is how Trump's rhetoric has given a surge of empowerment and free license for people to spew hate/violence. I avoided the news since the election and was curious to know if acts of vandalism/violence against minority groups started to trend up and skimming the first few posts here, was disheartened to see that was the case.

I realize I sound like a broken record if I yet again bring up the similarities in the UK after their referendum vote. But yeah, dramatic increases violence and verbal threats against the the Polish, Muslims, etc and even those who may have been 2nd/3rd generation immigrants.

Long term worry is who will be appointed to the Supreme Court. Hoping for a moderate like Chief Justice Roberts (who I respect greatly because of his fair approach) and definitely hoping a clone of Justice Thomas or Scalia isn't next in line.

I'd feel a little more at ease if Democrats had control of something to counterbalance, but it is not meant to be

It's quite amazing that young people are still not taking the time to participate and vote, especially since the candidate/referendum/issue being voted on will directly affect them for years to come.

The blame and outrage the youth projected on the many of the older voters after the vote was astonishing. The potential loss of opportunities by UK youth really sucks, but they have only themselves to blame for the future they left everyone else to decide for them. I'd be most upset about losing to ability to freely work in any EU country. I gave up trying to find a sponsor and job in the UK/Europe due to how strict the requirements are.

And that whole idea of re-voting was funny to hear, especially the result of the vote was a big F U to the EU. Amusing at the time as an outsider. The secession of the City of London to save Londoners and single market access was also amusing to hear.

Sidenote: Has anyone else watched South Park this season? I'm just cycling back through some episodes that I remember, and the story arcs seem pretty spot on to how the events transpired. I haven't watched since my DVR was invaded but wonder what they have released episode wise now.

I have yet to go to a decent bathhouse. The most recent one I went to was steamworks in Toronto and it was a mess there, there were some good looking guys. But most were older men who smoked meth and I'm not joking about the meth. They had it there in their rooms and that's all people did. I wouldn't be scared. I've been to many and have not heard about threats of raids occurring. It's non-stop news coverage in my household presently and I have become numb to all the pundits and interviews about Trump's progress to date. As someone who should be concerned about things like his Cabinet choices, it's a lot of information to process. This is basically the best reality television show on the planet (and a pretty fascinating political science experiment). Intrigued about how all those Republicans who denounced Trump will continue forward relationship wise.

Impeachment was mentioned earlier here and It did get me to wonder what it would really take for that to happen? Not saying it should but, I wonder how much of a leash Trump will have if things start to get real crazy.

After that meltdown earlier  :crazy2: pushing forward and having some semblance of faith that Trump will not be a complete lunatic. I am a bit relieved that the rhetoric has toned down a lot. I hope there will be conscious and honest attempts to heal the ever so much more so divided nation.

The irony is that America has followed the footsteps of the UK. This is eerily similar to the events prior to and after the historic referendum vote to leave the EU. Disenfranchised middle class white rural voters, who were dissatisfied with government policies dictated by the urban elite and EU politicians, voted for a drastic change that people around the world did not predict would happen. The rhetoric used by Nigel Farage, UKIP, and the Leave Campaign to rally the disenfranchised is basically what we heard and witnessed during the debates and election coverage over the past few months.

In the UK, Leave voters who bought into the nostalgia tactic and explained during interviews or in articles that they wanted to return to a time when the UK was strong and great without the EU in the picture. We saw Leave voters swayed and romanced by a hypothetical savings of 350m that can go towards funding the NHS instead of EU membership that Farage and his allies promoted during interviews and on the side of a tour bus, only to watch Farage nonchalantly deny his involvement with the quote and his allies and the Leave Campaign for giving out false information.  And then the Regrexit saga, with Leave voters wanted a mulligan after the media reported on secondary consequences to leaving the EU that was never talked about by the Leave Campaign. Many admitted believing their vote would stem the flow of unwanted immigrant populations responsible for stealing NHS resources and jobs away from rightful UK citizens.  Blissfully unaware that the future existence of crucial EU programs like farm subsidies, infrastructure and development projects in outlying UK cities and grants to UK educational institutions would be in jeopardy with a vote to leave. Voters were inspired by the rhetoric of the Leave campaign and they showed up to cast a vote that set the UK on a course of uncharted territory without maps or navigation equipment to safely reach the desired destination.

I wonder what our Regrexit will look like. What unanticipated change will cause Trump voters to reflect on their vote? Speculation, i know… and littered with pessimism. I just cannot see a light at the end of the tunnel. As least UK citizens have some control over their destiny. America voted someone into presidential office considered a joke to others around the world. Anything is possible at this point. And that is scary. I do find humor in the fact that it's yet another typical American phenomenon

None of my relationships ended due to that reason, although if any cheating happened, it was on my end for sure. I'm pretty sure the next relationship I enter will be an open/poly type of arrangement because of my tendency to cheat.

Now, if I was in a closed relationship and caught my partner cheating, I still don't think I'd end it. Yeah, I'd be pissed off that he didn't talk about his urges with me but I don't think it's a deal breaker if I really care for him and if he does care for me too (and made a lapse in judgment). Everyone makes mistakes. But if he's a prick about, then I'd kick him to the curb.

Men are only allowed in the bath houses that are cruise-oriented. And yes, they do operate legally as a private membership club. At many of the bath houses I have frequented in the US, you are required to purchase a membership to the facility. It's a nominal fee usually. It's $6 for a month @ Steamworks but you have to a pay separate fee for a locker rental or a room each time you enter the facility.

There are traditional saunas (i.e. Turkish/Russian/Korean styles are examples that I think you may have heard about) that are single-sex or co-ed depending on how they have it set up. But the traditional saunas are not sex oriented places. Many traditional saunas are family environments where those under 18 can attend with their parents and strict policies are enforced against sexual activities in the facility (Although there is a cruisy Korean sauna here in Chicago where I think I jerked off a guy discreetly in the wet sauna after the guy did something to steam up the entire area  :fap: I do remember a few blowjobs beings given in the "napping chairs")

Sometimes the term saunas and bath houses are used interchangeably to describe the gay cruise-oriented facilities. Typically has features that resemble a spa So for example, at Steamworks (a popular bath house here in Chicago and other locations in the US) there is a gym equipment area, dry sauna, wet sauna & huge jacuzzi which serves its typical function but it also one of the many cruisy areas of the facility to meet and play with others. There is a locker room area to place your clothing/belongings. And the rest of the facility has private rooms and specialized areas to wander around and pick up someone for some private or public play.

Bath houses will range in quality depending on the establishment. I personally don't like the other bath house here. When I went years ago, it had a not-so-great functioning wet sauna, horrible carpeting in the locker room area, and I wasn't really attracted to many patrons.

Ultimately it's just another venue for men to cruise and find men to fuck in a private, sexually charged environment while basically naked It's not everyone's cup of tea but it can be fun and hot time if you're open to it.
