Click on "Rules" on the top blue bar, then click on "Moderating rules - Whom to promote and why". I don't mean to be a 'smart ass' but you will find that if you read the "Rules" "FAQ" and the "Guides & How To's" in the Forum section there is hardly a question that is not covered.

I am a bit dense; but I was unable to find "Moderating rules- Whom to promote and why" on the "Rules" page. However, there is a section for this on the "Rules" page of ST.ru–I was just wondering since Director97 or other Users may have trouble finding this section.

China is also not gay friendly, even though they partially legalized homosexuality.

The surprising thing {not really} is that the EU says that in order to join, you have to have basic human rights laws in place, that protect everyone. Yet they still allow countries to join that violate one of their most basic rules. Actually, it's their first rule of membership.

Okay well I understand the importance of these new rules… But I myself just got a warning msg for having a ratio below 0.35. I was down to 0.34 but raised it to 0.347 by seeding a completed torrent. Now I'm trying to upload my first torrent to really raise my ratio, but now I have to STOP seeding my completed torrent while waiting for mod verification? C'mon that's just silly. That's counter-productive to the whole notion of sharing and seeding. Right now it's been 90 mins and no approval... If I have to wait longer, well then I'll be all the more inclined to leave my ratio the way it is and share my torrents elsewhere.

Mods please! Relax the rules here or you're going to lose your entire community.

Certain people have repeatedly shown that they know what they are doing and can be trusted. Sure, everyone can make the odd mistake now and again, but that's not going to crater the site.

I'm all for having a "white list" for trusted uploaders. The problem comes from the users who aren't white listed and they scream and moan that we hate and don't trust them. This could tear the site apart.

For sure. The "Whites" versus the "Non-Whites"–if it tore America apart in the 60's and prior, it will surely divide us.

I understand the wait may take a while, but it is necessary to enforce our rules–regardless of being a "regular" or being a "newbie". In addition, the mods need to make sure you are only seeding the ONE torrent; you wouldn't want to get a 3-day download simply because the seeder is seeding other less-popular torrents, now would you? The moderators are not on 24/7 to approve a torrent; they do have lives outside of GT.ru and most live in different time zones. Hence, YOUR midnight is one mods 6am, etc. and, as a result, he will be sleeping, as I assume you do too. The approval process saves time on both our and the Mods' part: they can filter out poorly upped torrents so that you do not receive bad comments, or even worse a report or a warning--all of which will subsequently cause you to write several negative, unthoughtful PMs to our Mods.

Thank you for REposting this message from another site. As I have said before, Hate is a strong word. Sorry to say, but pick pockets steal Christian wallets too, not just yours. And saying "Americans are TOO sophisticated, TOO rich, and TOO mature" is such a hasty generalization. Maybe I am TOO AMERICAN for You, but if its so bad here for you, PERHAPS it might be best for you to leave. Muslims have many rights in America. One of them, for instance–as demonstrated by you in this post--is freedom of speech. Before making such outrageous claims, do share why you are being deported--PERHAPS it is a VALID reason.
