You made my point though.  There are very tough laws protecting the President from threats and he has the best security in the world surrounding him at all times.  CNN reporters don't have that.  Trump has named them the "enemy of the American people."  That kind of language is usually reserved for terrorists (or Paul Ryan).  The US government is already assaulting reporters who ask questions about Trumpcare.  They need to run the government in total secrecy.  It's the only way they will be able to get their communist agenda through.

As for Trump, I don't agree with him on some things.  When he said "Obama was born in the United States" he was caving in to the mountain of pressure the media and both liberals AND conservatives were attacking him with.  Remember that a lot of conservatives started that "Never Trump" movement, including some prominent republicans such as Mitt Romney spending something like $21 million to prevent Trump from getting elected.  This is one of the instances in which Trump did what he felt he had to do.  The face remains, Obama was not a legitimate president.

Just for the sake of argument.  Let's pretend that Obama WAS born in the USA.  Well, there is no excuse for him not providing that certificate of birth until 1.5 years AFTER becoming president.  Obama had no business running for president in 2008. 
Additionally, in 2008.. Obama did NOT complete the oath of office on inauguration day because he did not say "so help me god".  They re-did the oath the next day - in which he did say "so help me god" but on the 2nd oath, he didn't have his hand on the bible.  Frankly, he never completed that oath the 2nd time either.  In 2012, he said "so help me god" and had his hand on a book that he brought with him, not the traditional bible that every other president used.  It was probably a copy of the Koran or an old Sears Catalog with leather cover.

There was no "mountain of pressure" regarding the birther movement.  It was the end of Obama's term.  It didn't matter.  The truth is that Trump used that press conference as a way to get free press for his new hotel.  He manipulated the press the same way that he manipulates you.

There is a huge problem with regulations and laws that don't get enforced. 
Take this example..  two identical crimes are committed by two men.  One is black, the other is white.. however, only one of those men is charged and convicted of the crime.  Do you get it?
Any regulation, rule, or law that is not going to be enforced needs to be eliminated.  Ideally, the problem will be dealt with another way, but if the regulation isn't working, then it's a danger to even have that regulation because it is not fair.

Well that's great because according to Trump regulations are "way down" already.  How many regulations is that?  Who  is measuring?  What impact does it have?  Conservatives don't care about that.  They can only think in 5 second sound bites with a small number of syllables.  It's very sad.

To answer your question, politics aside states were asked to send personal information including the last 4 digits of SSN to an insecure email address!  I wouldn't have done it just based on that.

Here's an idea for families in Baltimore who can't afford their rent…  MOVE!
Should we subsidize rents for people who can't afford their astronomical rents in places like London, NYC, Beverly Hills, or any other big city?  Should people who live in places with expensive real estate be punished by having low-rent slums constructed in their neighborhoods?  This reminds me of a trip I took to Norway.  The country is so clean, and thriving as you take the transport from the Gardermoen Airport into Oslo.  With one exception.. you pass by one large area where it is quite dirty, and looks like a massive run-down dump.  I found out that this is the area of free / cheap public housing for minorities.  Norway has a problem in that half the population leaves the country for 6 months out of the year to go to warmer places.. creating a vacuum for immigrants needed to work in the oil industry, etc.  So, to be brief, take one of the nations with the highest standards of living in the world, make it a welfare state with subsidized housing for immigrants..  and you wind up with a DISASTER.  The same thing is going on and has been going on in England and Germany.  It's quite ironic that all those jewish people that were either chases out, severely subjugated, or even exterminated would be the same people who would never allow the influx of Muslims that Frau Merkel is doing now!

That's not much of a plan.  This is a real issue that many cities struggle with.  Someone still needs to clean the toilets and those jobs usually don't pay well.  If all you are left with is high income workers then  there is nobody to teach our children or serve us french fries.

What are you going to say when a CNN reporter is assaulted…...or worse?  We all know that every person who voted for Trump isn't very smart.  Just look at the Pizzagate guy.  That situation could have been much worse.
