Conservatives don't understand what a problem it is when illegals have to live in the shadows because they are afraid.  I live in a sanctuary city in a primarily immigrant neighborhood.  It's always been an immigrant neighborhood.  It was Irish and Italian and now it's mainly people from South and Central America.

The primary reason we are a sanctuary city is because it's what law enforcement wanted.  Police were not able to do their jobs when people wouldn't cooperate as witnesses or even come forward to report a crime due to fear of deportation.  We had courts just letting criminals roam free because the only witness wouldn't come testify.  These cities are safer places because of their sanctuary status.  You can live in denial all you want.  I  live in one of these neighborhoods.  It's full of people just living their lives and doing their jobs.

Being unpopular has never bothered Republicans.  The only way they win elections is via gerrymandering, fraud or manipulation of their feeble minded voters.

I sometimes find it difficult to use the quote feature on here.  It's awkward at best.

Last year Trump told us that he understands the cybers better than anyone.  I think he lied guys.

He asked the states to send YOUR personal information to an insecure email address.  The request included the following:

Full names
Home addresses
Dates of birth
Political affiliations
Last four digits of social security numbers
Elections voted in from 2006 onward
Information about felony convictions
Information about voter registration in other states
Information about military status
And overseas citizen information

According to the article and the various techies that commented on it the email address didn't even contain basic email security protocols.  I admit that I don't understand all of that technical stuff but the people in the comment section sure seem to know what they are talking about.

I realize that this is mostly public information (except for the SSN) but there is no central place for a hacker to steal it for 160 million people.  That's one of the benefits of not having a centralized election system.

The worst part is that many states sent it!  I imagine the Russians (or Nigerians or lots of others) are hard at work hacking that address in order to steal your identities.  I'm glad I live in a state that understands a little about the cybers.  Trump makes us all a little less secure with each passing day.

The US government is already assaulting reporters.  That poor man in Montana was body slammed just for asking a question.  This video is just one step closer to the government killing them.  He is already singling them out on MSNBC.  I bet Joe and Mika have full time security now.  Luckily they can afford it. A NYT or WaPo reporter surely won't be able to.

He did leak it himself.  The Apprentice started in 2004.  He likely did every well in 2005.  The rest of the years will tell a very different story.  He can release the 2016 return.  It hasn't been filed yet.  He requested an extension.  He should release it to the American people at the same time of the filing.  His supporters should demand that he keep his promise to them.

It makes me think that there was little involvement from IT people.  You have to wonder how they plan to analyze all of that data without IT people.  I suppose the more likely scenario is that they wrote the conclusion of their findings months ago.

Then someone should be fired in those states if they sent sensitive information to an unsecured email.  Look at all the hacking that goes on these days.  Trump said he knew about the cybers!

There are in fact very tough laws protecting the PRESIDENT from threats.. such as those made by Kathy Griffin, Johnny Depp, John Cusack, and months ago.. Madonna.

Griffin- that wasn't a threat.  It was a fake head.
Depp- He didn't break any laws.   US law doesn't extend to foreign countries.

I have no idea what Cusack or Madonna did so I won't comment.

Nobody should threaten the President.  I'm not condoning it but you can't use the fact that people do threaten him as justification for Trump trying to abolish the First Amendment by encouraging violence against reporters so that he will be free to run the government in secret.  Every President gets threats.  I don't recall any of them threatening private citizens.  He is the President but he is behaving like a low brow reality TV star.  Honey Boo Boo's mom seems so sophisticated next to him.
