I always get aggravated when they do that under camera angle where all you see is some ass getting plowed by some dick.

When I like a porn star, it's because of characteristics of that particular actor.  So I like to see who he is, his body, face, etc.

But so many agencies will do that under shot where it could literally be anyone.  I keep trying to skip past it and they keep going back to it : ' (

As a bi guy it's always been technically understood to me that in a gay relationship we'd be open and trusting and wouldn't mind having sex outside the relationship.

I don't intend on judging but what's you view on monogamy?  Do you expect, in a serious relationship, to be the only one?

The files of the biggest torrent we have are of above 50 GB size (we discussed if to approve, because of the risk the original seeder won't suceed) and some in the 20 GB range.

However, if you look carefully in the different rules spread about our site and forum, you'll find that:

• A collection should not contain full lengths movies (but only clips, pictures, etc…) > upload these separately
• A collection should not be above 2 GB of total size, unless it is a full site rip or TV season (above mentioned torrents are for such)

Double Layer DVD got typically a size in the range mentioned and are for a single file. We have many of them accessible to Power User only.

QTM does not allow a single file to be 2 GB or above (multiplie fies, each below 2GB, in a folder above 2GB of size is possible)

The videos on him aren't the problem, since all of them combined would just be 1.1GB.  I did wonder on uploading them separately, but I ended up deciding that it would just end up being like I wanted auto approval faster, since they range from 80MB to 500MB.  I'd feel silly having a 80MB file by itself.  It'd be like uploading files from like, Str8 Jeff separately (they're usually bunched up to make them bigger).

The problem is 1399 pictures of 4MB-9MB.  Having a file with 300 pictures (about 1.5GB) would stretch it to almost 5 torrents just for his pictures.  But I guess that's what I'll have to do, separate them between photoshoots.  It's just that to me picture torrents are less successful.  Hmm… Maybe setup so that each video is combined with pictures from that photoshoot.  Yeah that'll work!  I think...

The only reason I want to upload each models whole folder is for completion.  It feels half-done if I just do the videos because I know when I really like an actor I'll scourge the interwebs looking for anything on them.  But thanks for the good ideas.  If I separate the movie with it's pictures then they'd be about 2GB each and have media + picture

I don't know if there's a policy, I looked but I can't find any, but if not then just general opinion.  I've been uploading bukbuddies, but now I'm at a model whose folder is 7.2GB.  Would that be considered too much for some people?  Should I split it up?  It's not even that many files it's just the pictures are very High Res, (some are almost 10MB per picture), and it'd be silly to have many different torrents with like 100 pictures each…

What do people think?

I'm a total hypocrite.  Sometimes I batch download, get like lots at a time.  And I don't even say anything.  And then I upload and keep waiting for responses.  I do appreciate comments a LOT more than thank yous, but that's better than nothing.  I also love seed bonus gifts, not even to use them but because it's like well… a gift, it's like a badge of honor! xD

I do get slightly annoyed when you upload something rareish from your own subscription or such and get like 10 seedbonus or 2 thank yous, then you look at some common twink porn torrent that you've seen in forums 200 times that someone downloaded off rapidshare, and it has 10 comments, 30 thank yous and 200 seed gift xD  But that's what I get for being into a subculture (bears) instead of mainstream

I both agree and disagree with the OP.  I do think that the process is so slow… The problem I have is I work everyday (teacher), and it takes several hours in order for it to get approved (about 8 average for me so far, but only done it 4 times so far, here and sextorrents) but then I have to wait for 3-4 people to get it.  So it takes at least 12 hours or more to be able to shut off my computer.

Since I have a family, I can't leave my computer on uploading porn while I leave (I can't trust a 11 year old to NOT mess with the computer).  So essentially I have to wait for a day off to upload something.

HOWEVER I understand why it is the way it is.  While I do think 10 is high (when someone's uploaded 5 good videos they are probably okay, but maybe better safe than sorry), I do appreciate the fact that I have yet to download a file here that's a dummy/fake/virus.  We also have an extensive library, good seeders, but mostly we have a qualitative library.  In which I mean 2GB files instead of LQ.  So overall the positives greatly outweigh the negatives.  If we had immediate posting we'd all be waiting in the comments for people saying "Real file" or "fake".  We'd have lots of random miscategorized files (don't you appreciate being able to search bears and not see a bunch of twinks or vice versa?).

As for it taking a long time for a mod to check something.  I'm guessing gaytorrents pays very little (if they do at all) for a full time mod.  So I just can't be mad at someone for doing a voluntary job...  Especially since this is a free site.  C'mon, one video you've downloaded already saved you about $19.95 it would've cost to buy it...

So I'll just keep on uploading on my day offs until I reach 10, and then submit auto approval.  And be mad at myself if I make a mistake at #9 or #10 and have to start over xD

Someone said, 'Uploaders have little to no incentive to support the site other then their desire to help other gay members' and I was sort of shocked to see they said that as a negative thing...  I don't know, the world out there is so homophobic and nonsupporting sometimes that "help other gay members" seems to me to be more than enough.  It took me long enough to start uploading, (I've downloaded 382 GB), but I just saw it as a way to help out people after being helped for so long.  I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I get happy when I see people downloading my files, like I've done something nice for a community that's been extra awesome to me.

I wanted to ask your policy and thoughts on SG4GE vids.  For those who don't know, that's "Straight guys for gay eyes".  It is a category within itself, videos of straight sex, but with the focus on the male (in fact sometimes you can't even see female face).  It also tends to have little to no cunnilingus (and when they do it's again, focused on the guy).

But I always thought it'd just be passed off for being straight sex, but now there's an actual company that specializes in it: wvw.sg4ge.com

I was wondering if we're allowed to post their vids at all, because it was really hard for me to find the new Arpad Miklos vid for a while (phew now I have it!) since straight sites don't care for it, and gay sites don't consider it gay.  And now it's like I can't share it within ourselves.

I thought to maybe include the video inside a collection for Arpad, or who knows.  I don't know if it'd be more trouble than it's worth to have an exception.  IE: Person sees a "Straight" vid, thinks it's allowed, uploads real straight vid, gets in trouble.  It's just that as a gay person, I don't frequent straight sites, but sg4ge is something that WOULD be interesting to gay men, specially when it includes a famous gay porn actor like Arpad.

I'm just wondering what people think.
