Locker room ethics

Are there rules in the locker room?
There are in restrooms for sure. If you have a vacant space you just don't use the one next to a guy. You just don't do that… I understand it.
How is it about showers? Lockers?

Do you have a code for choosing lockers? Is there something you shouldn't do?
Me and my friend always use the lockers next to each other. We have a certain spot but if it's crowded we go somewhere else -
Being naked. What do you think? There are guys that are really self-concious. Some of them don't even shower. I know two bodybuilders which don't shower everytime they just change outfits and leave. Is that... normal lol? For me it's gross. Some of the guys go with their pants to the shower. I actually just take my pants off and cover with towel and then go. But when I'm stripping I just show my bare ass. Don't really hide it like it's some sort of taboo. Guys just don't do that often. But I saw a guy who just went all naked from the locker room to the shower without covering. Just like that. And I saw it once only.

Peeking. Do you guys peek ? I can't help it. I'm always going for asses or just physics. Of course if someone is nice for me. It's not like I'm looking like other straight guys would. I just love men. I love looking at them naked. THere was one guy I really fancied. I just looked and looked and he probably saw it. Then when he was only in his towel he dropped it and was doing something a little bent probably searching for pants and then putting them on and I just looked at his dick. He could just turn the other way cause he was in a dead end. And he saw me looking and I just turned around and did not look anymore. He didn't hdie it or something but that was awkward. I've been saying hi to him since , sometimes I would see him and he would see me but we would just not look at each other. I thought he doesn't want to talk to me but well one time he just saw me and I didn't say anything and he was the one that gave me a handshake ans say hi.

Keeping your thing. What do you do with your things ? When you shower? I just take a towel flip flops and shampoo and hide my key in a shoe. But I've seen a guy who took all his things (not a noobie - one of a bigger guys) and there was his backpack hanigng in the shower room and his shoes in front of it. That was weird.
-
Doing selfies. You do photos in the locker room ? Or in front of the mirror in the bathroom? How do you feel about it. I would hate it if I'm doing a face, harden up and then someone is goign out of the bathroom.

Showers. Is there a rule which shower to use as in the bathroom ?
I've been showering today and there was a familiar guy which I have a total crush. There are like 12 showers. Only 2 taken (me and my friend next to me). He chose the one almost opposite to me, that we clearly have seen each other. I was taking peeks and ... just wow. What a gorgeous guy. Anyway. He could've pick any other shower or the shower on the same side as we did so we would not see each other. You guys think there is a rule ? And he broke it? Or did he just didn't care and went to what he liked.

just no loud talking in a sea of strangers in locker areas..people come and go here so after ur finished, then you just leave

warpaint, you've certainly put a lot of thought into almost every aspect of "locker room ethics." I will only address the point I feel strongest about, and that is #5: Doing selfies.
Imho, phone cameras make many gym members uncomfortable and should not be used in a public gym. Other gym members have the expectation of, and the right to, privacy in the changing room, and a clicking camera phone is, simply, inappropriate – no matter in which direction it is pointed.
-
Keep to yourself when possible. Although some guys use gyms to "cruise", a lot of guys are simply there to exercise, and locker-rooms are an extension of that. Bothering people at a gym can be truly annoying.
-
Maybe the people who don't shower are showering when they get home or elsewhere because they're sick of people "taking a peek" and doing selfies. just a thought.

Just don't be obvious or obnoxious and your fine. Most of the guys in gyms know that a lot of guys there are gay or bi. Heck, many like to tease.
