There are many cases every year in which a girl / woman will give birth someplace like a bathroom, bedroom, etc. and then toss the baby in a dumpster or somehow flush it down a toilet. In these cases, the mother is considered to be a monster and subjected to severe penalties.
In another case from a couple of years ago, a girl who was supposed to be on birth control got pregnant. The guy didn't wan't the baby. She got sick and the guy gave her a medication which caused an abortion of the lima bean sized 6 week old fetus. That guy was demonized and sentenced to 14 years in prison. There are many examples of this happening.
Contrast that with the fact that a woman can get a government subsidized, guilt-free abortion, of a perfectly healthy baby, up until the day of delivery! And THAT is perfectly legal! (Hillary Clinton supported that in debate #3 of the 2016 presidential election).
Someone is clearly nuts. Who?

I don't get your point. Are you saying third-trimester abortions should be illegal or that HC is nuts because she said she was okay with late-term abortions for the health of the mother?

If there is a problem with the health of the mother in the 3rd trimester.. have a c-section. My adopted / purchased sister was a 7 month baby. 6 month babies (second trimester) are viable.
It's also nuts that someone should be sentenced to 14 years in prison for aborting a 6 week fetus the size of a lima bean.

The number of women who have an abortion in the third trimester is low. Women who are having abortions that late have some kind of reason for choosing an abortion over c-section. In fact, here's the account of a woman whose baby wouldn't be able to survive outside the womb, so at 31 weeks she chose to end the pregnancy.

The argument that all abortions should be illegal starts with finding abortions that should be illegal. The line of thought works just like those against any gun laws.
If this is a topic you're interested in, you should read the accounts of midwives from the turn of the last century. It was fairly common for them to kill newborns who were born with all the diseases we now test for or conditions that, today, an infant can survive. Occasionally you'll hear them echoed in stories coming out of third world counties.

Now to get serious again, and more to the thread's original topic, I read the entirety of the Jezebel interview and was pretty blown away.
It's a dark and nightmarish journey for this woman, who recounts being told her 31-week fetus had turned "unviable" for outside life, and how the trail of anti-abortion radicals' efforts made her journey so much harder and dangerous. Plenty of medical details not for the squeamish, I assure you. Thanks, ct, for sharing the link.

That song only hit #28? WTF? I checked.. and you are correct, but I also looked at what songs were #1 through #27. In 1986, there were more great songs in one year than in the past 17 years or more (since 2000).
