My prediction for MONDAY…
-
I predict that on Monday, Herr Mueller is going to arrest Manafort.
The reason is.. Herr Mueller is DESPERATE to throw some meat to the media to chew on.. because up until now, he's come up with nothing, and is now in trouble HIMSELF. Mueller is trying to shield himself from his past wrongdoings by throwing Manafort under the bus. That is a "hail mary" act of desperation.Again, that is my PREDICTION.
(by the way.. Herr Mueller is not looking healthy these days.. he's lost a LOT of weight. He is 73 years old.

You mean something is actually going to come of this?
From afar, this really does play like a TV drama. (cue popcorn)

Well, no.. I don't thing something will come of it.. however..
The heat has rapidly been building under Herr Mueller. There have been calls to have him removed as the grand inquisitor, and be investigated. In a desperate move to give himself a shred of relevance, he is pulling this stunt on Monday which will go nowhere.Meanwhile, there is an insane Vermont Senator Sherman who refuses to discuss or acknowledge anything OTHER than Trump committed "Obstruction of Justice" three times. I tried to find what Senator Sherman is referring to. How did Trump commit obstruction of justice?

My prediction was correct, but it was expected.
Here is the problem:
Manafort was Trump's campaign manager who resigned months before the election. Trump barely knew the man. And yet, the moonbats are going nuts about this man.
Compare that to Huma Abedin.. who not only worked as campaign manager for Hillary, but also was Hillary's Chief of Staff! Abedin was an aide to Hillary for OVER 20 YEARS and continued to be Hillary's chief of staff, etc. THROUGH the election. They were so buddy buddy that a lot of people think Hillary and Abedin have been munching each other's carpet! Abedin is knee deep in Hillary's email scandal, and had DUPLICATES of all that classified, sensitive, government correspondence stored on her husband's laptop! Worse yet, her husband is a serial convicted pervert who is currently in prison. How about investigating THAT? That situation is 100 times more relevant than Manafort.By the way… the murder case I sometimes refer to involves a chief of staff. For those who don't know, a "chief of staff" is someone who is empowered to perform the actions and speak for the person they are chief of staff for. It's kind of like having a substitute teacher or guest host on Johnny Carson. Anyway, in that murder case, a government official charged an (innocent) man with a crime that he was convicted for, and that charge resulted in the falsely accused man being sentenced to life in prison with NO chance of parole! Now, here comes the crazy part. The father of the murder victim THANKED the DEFENSE attorney after the conviction. This is where it gets really crazy.. the best friend of the defense attorney was the chief of staff of that government official at the time of the murder!! That has got to be the biggest, most outrageous conflict of interest in the history of the planet!

My "chief of staff" is a civil servant.

My "chief of staff" is a civil servant.
In the case I was referring to.. it was a chief of staff of the leader of a country.
I think the most common usage of the term "chief of staff" is in the military.. in which the general can't be awake and available 24/7.. so he has a "chief of staff" operating in his place. As I recall, during 9/11, the White House Chief of Staff gave the order to shoot down any planes that did not land - including the plane that went down in a field in Pennsylvania. I think his name was Andy Card. He is also the one that interrupted Bush while he was reading "My Pet Goat" to a bunch of 10 year olds. That book is of a 6 year old level… watch the video and you will understand.. Bush continued to read the book for 5 minutes after being told "MR. PRESIDENT, WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!". One thing never mentioned about that is... by staying with the children, Bush was putting those children in great danger because he was a target.

Um, Manny and Trump traveled in the same influence-peddling circles for decades, but of course, I'm sure this group never took the time to kick around ways to back-deal and grease the skids for each other.
"Manafort and political strategist and informal Trump adviser Roger J. Stone Jr. co-founded the Washington, D.C.-lobbying firm Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly in the early 1980s."

Please tell me this is a Halloween prank of yours. Boo, it's the International Murder Case – endlessly invoked, causing threads to be diverted, offering the same fragments of details that never coalesce into a proper account.
It's a triple-decker "nothing burger," as far as the topics on this P&D board are concerned. Should we get out a timer to see when this murky non-starter will raise its head again?
