Donald Trump to become first president to speak at anti-LGBT hate group's summit
-
Donald Trump is to address the annual conference of an anti-LGBT group which has been classified as a hate group.
The US president will become the first sitting president to address social conservative activists and elected officials at the Value Voters Summit in Washington DC on Friday.
President Trump has addressed the event which is hosted by the Family Research Council three times in total and did so last year as the Republican presidential candidate.
The Family Research Council opposes and actively lobbies against equal rights for LGBT persons. The conservative Christian group campaigns against same-sex marriage, same-sex civil unions, LGBT adoption, abortion, embryonic stell-cell research, pornography and divorce.

who classified them as a hate group? Let me guess…
Meanwhile.. where's your criticism of leftists who praise the terrorist / racist "Black Lives Matter" and shield mega sexual offenders such as Harvey Weinstein? Eminem is some kind of hypocrite.. he is so anti-gay that his career went into a nosedive, and he had to beg Elton John to make nice with the gays for him. He probably sucked Elton's cock and then turned around and took Elton's member up his slim shady ass.
By the way.. how many of you are aware that Eminem's predecessor - Marky Mark - used to be a male escort - for males?

This is so sad because he lied to LGBT Americans' faces while running for president. We all knew he was lying but the writing is now on the wall. Look at how this administration is fine with discrimination against LGBT individuals in the workplace. It's just sad that in 2017 we have a president and an administration that is pushing for making certain individuals second-class citizens. How can someone be perfectly fine with individuals being discriminated against just because of their sexual orientation? It's probably not him personally, it's those who are around him; however, if he's this incredible leader as I've heard then he should have no problem standing up for people he promised he'd treat fairly. Denying individuals essential opportunities is not treating them fairly. Pushing them closer to becoming second-class citizens is not treating them fairly.

Hmm.. who in the history of the USA pushed people into becoming second-class citizens more than Obama? Nobody!

Yeah, because President Obama told the Justice Department to push for changing workplace guidelines to discriminate against gays and to push for allowing companies to discriminate against gays. This is disgusting and a slap in the face to LGBT individuals who voted for this president. What is he going to say to gays who are fired and find themselves having to fight against a federal government who is against them? This will do nothing but create an uprising against companies who practice bigotry against their employees and further divide this country.

I agree! Shame on OBAMA! for telling the he Justice Department to push for changing workplace guidelines to discriminate against gays and to push for allowing companies to discriminate against gays!

You agree that #45, the current president, is disgusting for telling Jeff Sessions to discriminate against gays? Finally, we agree on something other than Facebook being dirtier than garbage.

Did you read your own post? You said OBAMA.. not Jeff Sessions. Maybe you should put the bottle down and give your liver a break.

I was being sarcastic. I do not refer to President Obama as the current president because he is not. Are you making the argument that President Obama is the current president and that #45 isn't? If you are, then that would be interesting.

I'll take a stab at this.
The Southern Poverty Law Center (TSPLC) is the organization that labeled this a hate group. They've also denounced Maajid Nawaz (personal hero) and put him on a hate list for speaking up against Jihadism, himself a former Jihadist, and in favor of a more moderate Islam. TSPLC is also being sued by several different individuals and organizations for these kinds of lists which label individuals and groups racist, sexist, Islamaphobic, etc. So maybe to be less inflammatory we could be discussing why Trump chose to speak at an uber-Christian organization.
Well, they are American. They represent a voice in the United States. That voice is one under a larger Christian tent.
Personally, I don't care if he goes. I think we as gay individuals would be wise to get a seat at the table with Trump rather than to sit on the sidelines in pink hats pissing him, and his administration, off. (I'm radical like that.)
