President Donald Trump shook up his beleaguered press team on Friday, appointing close ally and Wall Street financier Anthony Scaramucci to be his new White House communications director.

The move was reportedly what led White House press secretary Sean Spicer to resign, after just six months on the job.

But Spicer isn’t alone in his disapproval of Scaramucci. Spicer’s deputy, Sarah Hucakbee Sanders, as well as White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon all reportedly opposed Scaramucci’s appointment, multiple outlets reported Friday. But the president’s daughter Ivanka, his son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, were supportive of the appointment, according to The New York Times.

I wish I could take credit but it's all here.  It seems the "fake news" did a much better job of vetting him than Trump did.  He is also a Hillary supporter!!

The Trump administration is an unfortunate reality TV show, and the American people lose.

Once again..  you moonbats disgrace yourself by standing on your heads trying to stir up some controversy where none exists.

As for Sean Spicer, he was being mocked so viciously on SNL every week that it was making him a liability.  Sarah Huckabee Sanders had already started doing the press briefings before Spicer resigned.  SNL will have a much more difficult time attacking Sanders because of her gender.  They will still try, but it won't stick.

By the way.. in regards to SNL, other than Alec Baldwin (who is not a cast member of SNL) and the incessant attacks on Trump, nobody talks about SNL at all.  They need to pull the plug on that show.  I think they would get better ratings by broadcasting re-runs of 'The Carol Burnett Show" in that time slot.

If Trump weren't so foolish, it wouldn't be so easy to satirize him.

Sarah Palin is extremely outspoken, which made her a target.

I find it disturbing that Sutieday celebrates the attacks on government officials by the media.  The media are not supposed to be attacking government officials.  They are supposed to report the news.    Imagine if any reporter ever mentioned that FDR was a cripple, or JFK was boning everything that moved, .

Oh – THAT's rich, F, for you to pontificate on attacking government officials, when earlier this week, on the day Senator John McCain was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, you started the thread:

Rosie is at it again.. and McCain OFFICIALLY has a dysfunctional brain:

SNL is not a news media outlet. Therefore, they have no obligation to report the news.

The attacks you are talking about are personal attacks (i.e. ad hominem). Can you provide an example of when I "celebrated" such attacks?

I think the media, in general, should always be critical of those in power, hold them accountable, and not be government propaganda outlets like in Russia media.

Now, as for SNL, Frederick, this is when you (again) take your opinions – but declare them as facts -- and the exact opposite is true.

SNL has been doing this for 40+ years.  It has gotten great ratings this past season.  Anyway you are deflecting again.

Can you believe that Trump hired a HILLARY SUPPORTER!!!

Ratings might be up, but that show seriously sucks.  Alec Baldwin is very talented.. and seems to be on every week, but is not a cast member.  They are in trouble now that they don't have Spicer to attack anymore.  That show has changed from being a comedy show to being an attack upon Trump.

Why would they be in trouble without Spicer?  There are plenty of other people in the Trump administration.  Truthfully, I thought the real Spicer was funnier.

Scaramucci began his career at Goldman Sachs , where he worked from 1989 to 1996 and held positions in its Investment Banking, Equities, and Private Wealth Management divisions. Scaramucci left Goldman in 1996 to launch Oscar Capital Management with his colleague Andrew Boszhardt. In 2005, Scaramucci founded global investment firm
SkyBridge Capital , serving as co-managing partner before selling the company in early 2017 to take a role in the Trump administration.

Following the 2016 election, Scaramucci served on the Presidential-Transition Team Executive Committee. On January 12, 2017, President-elect Trump announced his intent to appoint Scaramucci Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs . Scaramucci's swearing-in was reportedly delayed by an extended review of his finances by the Office of Government Ethics , although the ethics office denied that clearance was necessary before making White House appointments. Ultimately, George Sifakis was appointed instead.
