I can think of no greater violation of the rules than to edit a quote from a moonbat, and have it attributed to ME.

It was an accident due to the way the forum sometimes handle quotes, especially extended quotes.

You are a moderator, who is difficult to reach without making a topic specifically designed to draw your attention. You cannot be contacted through a private message directly, unless you have initiated it. I suspect you and frederick are in direct contact with one another, so there is even less need for this thread to exist, since you and frederick are able to communicate directly through private messages.
But you made a claim about conservative posters being targeted directly through threads, please back your claim up. I want to see those multiple threads of a similar nature as this one aimed at a specific user, even naming that user in its thread title and having a clear accusation attached to it.

I posted that apology as soon as I became aware of the mistake, which was a total of 25 minutes after you started this unnecessary topic. Any legitimate concern could have been discreetly reported to the moderator.
A forum board is not a telephone conversation or even a text conversation. Though you may see me viewing the board, I obviously may be viewing other posts. You need to give the other person time to reply.
You may have thought that I attacked you or your buddies publicly in my "Let's Get Back to Basics" thread, but I sought a public forum not to discuss rules violations, but to criticize the general direction and style of discussion on the board. There is no "Report to moderator" button for that.
The only time I have used that button on you was to report your bastardization of my username from pppucci to pppussi. -

A couple talked about boycotting certain users and that kind of shit.

You've flooded this group with spam, lies, fake news.. and then went on to downvote comments without even reading them.. complain about everything.. disputed verifiable facts, and even been so bold as to report people INCLUDING the moderator and attempted to get the almighty one involved.

But.. looking at the red and green lines, apparently, the moonbats aren't fooling many people. This is why despite the looney, fraudulent polls, and the biased media.. Trump won the election. raphjd, I have seen the green Warned header above Frederick's name several times now, in my very brief time here. Could you explain, for my benefit and others, if, after a set number of Warnings, if there is a guideline toward a timed Suspension for such repeat, repeat, repeat offenders? Would it not be a deterrent, and a further step toward meeting the board's civility rules, if we had such a guideline?

When you see a thread like this, where an individual engages in a falsely provoked escalation of name calling and flaming, with virtually no political content – and so much wasted time for all -- do you really find it so shocking that some of us would like to boycott, and if no change follows -- disengage with offending users?
For those who are serially Warned, I again encourage the implementation of a suspension / time-out. And after enough suspensions, show them the door. This is a common practice, and a useful one, on other discussion boards I have encountered.
What are your thoughts on the matter?

I second that notion, and I will transfer the discussion of Warning / Suspension / Banning guidelines to another thread in the near future. It's a topic worth our attention. :cool2:
