Fox News Contributor Erick Erickson: LGBTs Should Expect To Be Punched
-
If you want to keep pushing boundaries and making people uncomfortable, don’t be surprised when people try desperately to revert to cultural norms. If you want to wear a tutu in a bar, go to San Francisco. But stop your bitching that others have to go along with your “rights.” Get over yourself.

Isn't this common knowledge? :cheesy2:
-
As if any man in a tutu would be hanging out in whatever bars an utter square like Erick Erickson would frequent. ::)
-
I feel the same way about Fox News hosts.
-
While I may not agree with the sentiment, in a way he's right. If you go into a "straight" "tough" man bar and try to flirt and flaunt, you probably will get punched or thrown out and no one will sympathize with you for being stupid…same way if a straight man goes to a gay bar and starts something he will most likely be punched or at least shown the door.
-
So, gay flirting and flaunting (btw, the tutu guy isn't gay, he's married to a woman) or dressing unconventionally is equivalent to a straight guy going into the bar and 'starting something' and is an excuse for violence. Because I heartily doubt if the straight guy went into the bar and started flirting and flaunting he wouldn't be met with violence.
And look, I know reality sucks, but the problem here not only the reality but that an elected official was publicly excusing/condoning the behaviour.

The left loves violence, as long as it's them doing it. If it offends you, attack it.
Lefties refuse to condemn violence by their side, but scream like little bitches when it goes the other way.

someone seems very edgy and TRIGGERED
"enraged the BLT&GQ community"
I don't understand people who demand respect for their shitty selves, but give none to the people they demand respect from.
Do you guys? :-X
The world doesn't work like that.. Surprising these holders of the "cold hard truths" of the world don't know this yet, apparently… hmm...

If the way another human being wears their clothing or hair distresses you so much that you feel the need to attack them, then you have a severe mental problem.
Our culture needs to stop coddling those mentally ill violent people by just saying "Gay Panic" is "boys will be boys".
And, despite the brand new rhetoric from the alt-right, this kind of violence is all too common from conservatives.
Liberals, by definition, embrace diversity in all it's forms.
-
exactly^ on point.
Also, I am tired of this sentiment I run into on the internet mocking "fee fees" and emotion and human worth, glorifying sociopathy. Granted, hypersensitivity is also an issue, but there must be a balance.
The altright/right just loves trashing people for caring about others.. it's like they get off on it. They just come off as frustrated as hell to me.
Sociopathy is considered a mental illness for a reason, let's not forget that.

Do you mean like "nazi panic" from the left? If a girl wears a TRUMP hat, liberals think they are justified to set her hair on fire. Or any number of other acts of violence.
I bet you are one of those dictionary fallacy people. Can non-whites be racist against whites?

Actually, the side you hate, just because, has condemned all the various acts of violence, regardless which side it comes from.
You hatred of non-leftists blinds you to that fact.
