I wonder I am unusual in that when I know a performer is deceased, they no longer stimulate me sexually.
A lot of performers have died due to AIDS, suicide, traffic accidents, drug overdoses, medical conditions, murder. It really makes me sad. So sad that I can't watch them anymore.
This is not the case with mainstream movies. It doesn't bother me that actors in a movie or TV series have passed on. It doesn't affect me with music either - just porn. I suppose it has something to do with vitality.

@lololulu19 That could be because you watch porn to get aroused and get off, but you watch mainstream movies/tv for the entertainment value.
As for the whole dead thing, I think you're the only one there.
The only difference between martyrdom and suicide is press coverage! -

I watch porn as being the REAL interactions between people, even if the scene is scripted. I watch mainstream movies and TV as if it is totally fake.
I can think of a few exceptions to that though.. such as movies with Robin Williams in them. Robin was so tied to his characters that his unsettling death carried over to his movies and TV show and made them unwatchable for me. I have noticed that since his death, his movies and Mork & Mindy have faded away in popularity. I still think there was more to that story. I think Robin's wife told him she was going to divorce him, and Robin was unable to deal with that mentally, and short-circuited.

Denis Reid (plus his 20 thousand porn names) died in a motorcycle crash in 2016, but I still find him hot.
The motorcycle in the picture is the one he'd eventually die on, but the pic is from about 2 years before he died when he first got it for his 29th birthday.
Showing my age, but I had that motorcycle nearly 40 years before.
EDIT: Nearly 30 years before Denis got his, nearly 40 from now.

I think the manner of death shades my view of a porn performance.
There are, unfortunately, the many who died from AIDS. I met (conversation only) Kristian Brooks shortly before he died, and he was the gentlest of souls:
There are also the suicides, such as Mike Green/Leo Cooper/etc. who was straight, married, and was troubled from "gay by day/straight by night."
If I were paranoid, I might think that my enjoyment of their performances led them to behaviour that was ultimately destructive....but they made their own choices. I'll also add that every scene I've watched with Kristian Brooks was with a condom.

@eobox91103 i remember Leo Cooper now.. he's the one that turned on his Facebook live and streamed his suicide as he jumped out a window. That is horrible! Although he was intoxicated, he was well enough to set up the camera and stream on facebook.
