Yeah - that's the ticket! Pretend the genders are all alike, and prohibit any scientific study that might increase our understanding of why gender issues arise.

No! If you don't study it, it won't exist!

Nearly as absurdly STUPID as when Trump said we needed to test less to lower the COVID-19 numbers!

If you never walk into the forest, are the trees really there?

        (In a word: YES!)

Prohibiting "gender studies" will not make trans people disappear!

I'm defending academia... yes, there are bullshit courses, and no, some of what they "research" in "gender studies" likely isn't worth "researching" - but if you don't look, you don't find! (But the corollary is NOT true: if you don't look, it doesn't mean it isn't there).

Of course, you see ALL things with a "is it Liberal or Conservative?" overriding label requirement...

I don't think of academia (and Gov't intrusion on it) as a Liberal / Conservative issue.

I like mayo on my hamburgers... is that a Liberal thing, too?

It's your buddies in the DNC that want us to pay for people to study this shit.

Why? What political gain is there to studying the differences between genders?

                YOU are politicizing something apolitical...

Why are you on the side of the "Big Gov't" here?
What was wrong with allowing the University System to decide what topics were worth academic study, instead of politicians?

                Just so we're clear:

                • When you're in FAVOR of something, it's OK for the Gov't to force everyone to that belief
                • When you're AGAINST something, it's autocratic (if not fascist!) for the Gov't to force everyone to that belief

That makes perfect sense - IF, as you've demonstrated before, ALL of your morals are situational and politically centered...

The fact that you see gender studies as apolitical says everything about you.
