Hello Everyone,
I'm one of the staff here on GTRU,
We are aware of the issues with the tracker. We are working behind the scenes to try and remedy them I promise.
My only suggestion at the moment if your torrents are getting stuck or getting the "Timed Out" Error, Please try and restart your torrent client/ Pause your torrents, wait a few minutes, and try and resume them again.

GTRU Moderator.Already tried that and restarted my Mac even, still give me the "skipping tracker announce(unreachable)" message.
Thank you for acknowledging the issue tho.

try adding this tracker to your torrent:
firstly it was in red too but after some attempts it changed to green and uploading/downloading.

Personally, it still doesn’t work and I can’t understand why it works in some people because there are seeders and leechers currently connecting.

anybody else still has this problem? tracker "timed out/offline" for more than 12 hours. I can't download or upload anything.

@truthteller 5.40am here, and some torrents have downloaded, but others have not and are still at a total standstill

Start by restarting your client program. (Make sure the program really exits! For example, if you "quit" qBitTorrent, it usually still runs in the background... when you "restart" it, you just open a new window - to the same background process that was running before).

This is pretty much a random bug which will make it difficult to troubleshoot on the servers / host routers.
I ran into this today. First I was connected via my VPN and I was getting this message:
Connection Error (SSLHandshakeExecption: Remote host closed connection during handshake, SSL peer shut down incorrectly)I restarted Vuse and the errors still happened. I then exited Vuse and disabled my VPN. Next I was getting the Timeout error. I shut down Vuse and enabled my VPN again and I had the Timeout error. I restarted Vuse again and it worked.
I know how hard it is to troubleshoot an issue like this when you can not reliably reproduce the error. I wish the Tech team good luck in tracing this bug.
