The Austin American-Statesman, a liberal rag in Austin TX, refused to include the police description of the black mass shooter. At least 14 people were injured, 13 of which were shot.
As the editor put it; "such publication could be harmful in perpetuating stereotypes".

No Bias. It was irrelevant, was not hate driven or motivated, and didn't need to be reported. If he shot up a MAGA Rally then yes it would have been relevant. The news reports news. not gossip. @sosofly I just saw some bits of comments that I would like to comment on... "Women's Healthcare" is a euphemism for "ABORTION". Getting vaccinated has been shown to cause deadly blot clots, is not necessary for people who have already had COVID-19, and definitely should not be mandated - especially for children or healthy people. They now admit that masks do more harm than good - especially because although the masks are ineffective at protecting from the virus - wearing them for several hours per day.. the same mask day after day.. are like having germ factories and reduce one's respiration - cutting off the levels of oxygen getting to the brain. Even doctors who are typically associated with wearing masks only wear them for perhaps an hour at a time during a surgery. Black and brown and chartreuse women account for 35% of abortions.. and since they make up only 12% of the population, that means that 66% of their babies are being aborted. I found out just this year that about the same percentage of men are pro-abortion as women.. but for different reasons. Men don't want to pay for their 15 minutes of fun for the next 18 years.

Okay, so let's follow your logic circle and apply it. Why is it okay for the government to tell one group of people what to do with their body, and then so important to draw a line in the sand and tell another group what they will not do with their body?
Why do you even know the percentages of abortion rates in PA of Black and Brown women? The way the Republican party advocates for the terrible treatment of People of Color when they are born, you would think that they would welcome abortions. Outlaw abortion and then make sure that the mother has no healthcare when she is pregnant, Make sure that there is no social support system and no healthcare or government backed financial support for the child while he grows up. Cut funding to schools, who will censor and try to deny history and hide the fact that his / her ancestors were enslaved and brought to the shores of the North American Continent in 1619 and since that day Americans have made less progress than they think, and live in a country in which black and brown people continue to struggle indefinitely for rights they may never fully realize. Include the Black and Brown women's right to decide what to what with her own body and in the case of PA, it is being decided for her by a republican Majority that is 70% Male and 100% White.
Masks absolutely do not harm the body, are worn all day by healthcare professionals. Stop following Youtube and Info wars junk- fake science and speak to real accredited healthcare professionals who deal with infectious diseases for a living.

The government tells everybody what they can't do with their body. Suicide (attempting suicide, assisting suicide) is a very serious crime. People can only smoke cigarettes and drink booze by paying a significant tax, and being warned about it. Murdering a baby that has not yet popped out of the vagina is a big crime. They are able to successfully incubate 6 month old unborn babies - yet they routinely abort babies past 6 months. In fact, a couple of years ago, two states made it legal to not only abort babies up until the day they would be born, but also allow babies that survived a "failed" abortion to die in the delivery room by withholding food. The primary means that this virus spreads is through airborne transmission. Not magic drops going in eyes and ears. It is through breathing in aerosolized vapors. There are one offs where someone sneezes in another persons face and a transmission occurs but by and large that has not been the primary way it has been transmitted.As far as the incorrect history that you have been taught in American schools you need to just look at the word history. Not "completely ineffective," but less effective than a well-fitting non-vented N95 mask. It's true that virus particles are very, very small, but they don't fly solo. They're either contained in droplets from sneezing or coughing, or aerosolised with normal exhalation. If both the transmitter and the (potential) receiver are masked, the probability of transmission leading to infection is massively reduced. Do your own research on this, although Q-tweets don't count.

Dr. Fauci is a scientist. He studies new data and learns from it. As a result, he may say something based on new scientific understanding that was not known previously. He is not a stubborn conspiracy fetishist who adopts an opinion based on political bias and then refuses to consider new information.

No, he's not. He was a board certified ophthalmologist from 1995-2005, but is no longer certified. He does have an M.D. degree from Duke University, he never completed his undergraduate studies or received a Bachelor's degree as Duke didn't require it.
While he might still be able to diagnose and treat conjunctivitis or glaucoma, he cannot possibly be considered an expert on infectious disease. This no doubt contributed to him becoming infected with COVID-19 himself...and while it's good that he recovered, one cannot know how many people he infected (possibly with a fatal outcome) as a result of anti-science fact aversion.

To become an M.D. which is a doctoral program.. one must complete all the necessary pre-requisites. I have enough college credits to hold several degrees, however, I only applied for one - as the other degrees would be irrelevant compared to my chosen degree.

Certification is pretty much just a rubber stamp of bureaucracy. In fact, Rand Paul complained bitterly that the certification test was too easy, and meaningless. For instance.. whenever you see advertisements from Lawyers and other "professionals" that say they are "Board Certified" in something.. that typically means that they paid $10000 to a certification board to have them SAY they reviewed the practice of that person and certified that they are able and competent. In fact, it is very rare that certification boards do anything more than cash those checks. You are quite naive, and ignorant of the facts and of reality.

M.D. with a 3-year Residency in Ophthalmology is the definition of an Ophthalmologist.
You can be a Professor of Ophthalmology with a Ph.D., but you can not practice. After you get your PhD, you would have to be supervised by a tenured Professor for 3 years.
If you are a fully qualified MD Ophthalmologist (see above), you can teach without supervision.

No. A M.D., like a J.D., is a professional degree that trains a person to do a specific kind of work. A Ph.D. is an academic degree that is granted only after a person has made a notable research contribution to the advancement of his/her discipline (i.e., a dissertation).
