Twitter does NOT suspend liberals spewing hatred

Twitter is filled with anti-semetic tweets and the accounts are still active.
Even blue checkmark accounts are doing and not a peep from Twitter.
-
@raphjd I think Twitter will rapidly vanish once Parler gets their act together. Parler still is not fully operational.

Twitter is a private company.
But, you have options:
- Choose another platform, or
- Start your own competing platform (clearly you think there is a market for it!), or
- build-a-bridge and get over it!
Of course, I know the course you will choose... the 4th option
- do nothing, just whine about it!
-
Ah, so you are once again defending a liberal platform doing liberal things.
Keeping sniffing Pelosi's panties.

Actually, no. When Parler took off a few months ago, it was de-listed from both Apple and Google's app stores, and Google AWS banned Parler from using its back-end infrastructure. "Build your own platform" only works when the Leftists in charge of the AdTech ecosystem allow it. It's ridiculous and intellectually dishonest, given the Parler situation, to claim that private companies ought to compete when they're not allowed to access the infrastructure to compete in the first place.
-
Turns out, Parler was falsely accused of being the platform that lead to 6 Jan. That honor, as always, goes to FB and Twitter.

You couldn't be MORE wrong:
- Parler was not de-listed on Android's "store" at all, but Apple DID de-list them - but not for politics... when they were de-platformed, they became in violation of Apple's agreements.
- Not being in the Android "store" (unlike Apple) doesn't stop people from using or installing the app... Android is an "open" platform (unlike Apple). Put the installer on your homepage, and users can install it on Android phones - it's just not as EASY as-if it was on the store. (But to repeat - it was never removed from the Android store - only Apple's)
- Parler was de-platformed by AWS - which stands for Amazon Web Services... it should be obvious that they're not affiliated with Google . Indeed, they are fierce competitors in the "cloud" marketplace! (Your mistake was equivalent to calling Chevy a Ford product vs. a GM one).
- Parler was de-platformed by Amazon also because they were in violation of their terms of service. Amazon warned Parler of their impending status, gave them chances to "cure" the problems, and eventually even warned them of their impending loss of service...
- Instead of migrating to another Cloud Provider (like Microsoft Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle, or at least 2-dozen other LARGE corporations - not to mention literally hundreds of smaller competitors!), Parler chose to "play the victim", and pursue an idiotic "sue for specific performance" strategy in the courts. (Look it up - suing for "specific performance" is one of the hardest cases to make in US courts.... they might have gotten damages had they won, but they'd NEVER have been able to FORCE AWS to host them!)
- After Parler found no relief in the Courts, they eventually did exactly that: migrating their platform to a mid-sized provider called SkySilk. (Where they are today!)
And, to be clear, I do not support "liberal" platforms... I do support private companies having the right to refuse service to people and organizations that are not "protected" by special laws. This is the flip-side of "freedom" - you have the freedom to choose any provider, and providers have the freedom NOT to service you if they don't want to!
BUT!....
If you want to get mad at Amazon, strap your boots on! They just over-paid for MGM - and there is some speculation that the reason they overpaid by so much (more than 150% of the estimated value of the company by some accounts) was to ensure that they got their hands on the "The Apprentice" library - which includes all of the unused video, where according to many former contestants and "guest stars" of the show, there is ample footage of Trump being a complete racist, white-supremacist ass.
I don't know if such footage exists, or even if it does, whether it would politically damage Trump... but I do know that Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos paid all that money for the videos AND is now planning to step down as CEO in July... which will free him up to do pretty much anything he wants - he's one of the richest men in the world! And Trump pretty much pissed him off more than once, so we just may be looking at a 'clash of the titans" being setup!

Liberal "big tech" act in collusion against conservatives.
You support any liberal BS, no matter how insane.
You support businesses de-personing wrong thinkers, even when they have not broken the rules. You also support rampant anti-semitism on social media because it's from the liberal blue check marks.
You have defended BLM and their riots.

I don't know who you think you're talking about:
- I don't care if Twitter wants to have fewer subscribers by angering Trumpites - any more than I care if Parler wants to have fewer subscribers by kicking out liberals! It's their business, and they answer to their customers and stakeholders, not to me! (Capitalism anyone?)
- I don't believe that "all of big tech" is liberal (or conservative) - I think most o them just want to make more money
- I don't support businesses "de-personing wrong thinkers" (what does that even mean?) - see below...
- I do not support antisemitism in any form. I generally support Jewish people and Jewish causes... my children attended a Jewish pre-school, and my father was a cantor in a Jewish Synagogue when I was growing up! (Where the hell did you get the idea I'm antisemitic?)
- I have defended BLM's right to protest - I have never supported rioting, nor do I particularly support much of the BLM "platform" - but I do think that - in this free country - they have the right to protest, and I also think some of the things they protest against are legit. But it's not an "in for a penny, in for a pound" kind of thing! I can agree that US policing is out of control and largely racist - without agreeing that the solution is to do away with policing entirely (or any of the wacko-liberal ideas they espouse).
Finally, you have proven yourself to be pretty lousy at doing your own inventory - I would respectfully ask that you refrain from taking mine! You clearly have missed the mark this time!
-
You don't support anti-semitism, but you have no problem with "big tech" allowing it on their platforms. You're funny. I guess you also support banning jews from their platforms because you are a "capitalist".
Big Tech (Google, YouTube [I know Google owns YT], FB, and Twitter) are hard left. You don't understand that because, in your deluded mind, you think that anyone who has extreme TDS is a "conservative libertarian".

There is no evidence that Google makes adjustments to their search algorithms to support or suppress political viewpoints. The burden of proof is on those making the conspiracy-theory claims, not on the company... and there is no such proof.
Facebook and Twitter are largely controlled by their founders (Zuckerburg & Dorsey)... the companies aren't old enough to have responsible & reasonable boards for oversight... what's more, come 2028 or 2032, who's to say either will still be relevant? Remember Geocities? MySpace?
So what is your "remedy"? Eliminate all oversight? Eliminate their ability to cut people off of their platforms? They now have to allow pedophiles? Drug dealers? Pimps? Even if they're brazenly advertising their wares on their platform?
As the owner of a small business, it's never enough to identify a problem: you have to also propose a viable solution! Otherwise, you're just whining!
"The Internet" as a technology is still new, and we're still trying to figure it out... there is much left to come! The "next Twitter" is just around the corner... we just don't know what it'll be yet! (Maybe it'll be Parler!)
EDIT: I didn't address your contention that "free speech rights" are the moral equivalent to antisemitism. What a load of crap.
It is not (and should not be) illegal to post antisemitic things - so long as you're not endorsing or promoting violence against Jews. It's a free country - and even the most awful and hateful ideas are allowed.
But again, what is your remedy? Who chooses what is antisemitic? If I call BiBi Netanyahu an asshole, is that antisemitic?
Calling for (inciting) violence is something that can (and should) be removed... and that's how Dumpy and some his followers got into trouble.
-
Why is it then, that using DuckDuckGo gives you results that you can't find on Google?
Also, where is your proof? No, Joy Reid, Rachel Maddow, CNN, etc aren't sources. Nor is Google's denial.
Let's not forget that Project Veritas has debunked your claims on that.
As for FB and Twitter, we could easily get rid of 230 or enforce it properly so that they either act as a platform or a publisher. Currently, they act as both as they feel like it.
I do love your liberal histrionics. There is a huge difference between banning conservative political speech and posting kiddie porn. Thanks for trying though.
I know you have your head buried in the liberal sand, but did you know that YouTube, FB, and Twitter had kiddie porn scandals even while they focused on banning conservatives? Yeah, people were banned for saying things like "but they aren't women though" while they ignored the kiddie porn being posted on their platforms. Of course, we know you hate conservative think more than kiddie porn since you people are the ones who are trying to make pedophilia socially acceptable; ie the term MAPs aka Minor Attracted Persons.
I never said that anti-semitism should be banned.
I said that your liberal logic conflicts with anti-semitism being allowed. Liberals love hate speech laws, except when they are the ones spewing hate speech, which you guys always do.

OK, that must've come after Apple did it - and after they were de-platformed. I freely admit I haven't "stayed up" with the Parler story - and why would I? It's not something I find interesting:
- They were shut-off by AWS (Amazon Web Services) - so what? There are literally dozens of big-name competitors, and hundreds of smaller ones...
What would you do if your cell carrier dropped your service? Complain? File a lawsuit? Or, walk over to another carrier and start service with them!
This has been a NON-Story from the beginning!
When we say "We live in a free society" that freedom cuts both ways!
- ISPs have disconnected users because of torrenting DMCA-protected files... complaints were made to the FCC, who supported the decision to "de-platform" users who the carrier didn't want to support they "way they used the service"
- Phone companies have disconnected users because of complaints of spam calling... complaints were made to the FCC... same result: they don't HAVE to keep you as a customer.
Personally, with the new law in Florida purporting to fine Twitter or FB if they kick out a political candidate... if I was Twitter (or FB), as soon as the first fine was levied, I'd cutoff the entire State! Bye Bye!

Parler is no-longer de-platformed - they found a new host. (I have no idea if they're back on Apple's or Google's phone-app stores - and I don't care).
You're like children whose ice cream was dropped - 6 months ago - and you still want to hash out why it happened! Be an adult: buy another cone!

You got busted and now you are calling us children.
Ya gotta love liberals and their mental illness.
-
Are you admitting to "big tech" colluding to de-platform Parler?
As the supreme expert in absolutely everything, you would know that Zuckerberg and Dorsey admitted that they work together (all of "big tech") on issues like this. I forgot what the name of the program is, but you can find it on YouTube.
Sen Josh Hawley talked about it and asked the question. Zuck and Dorsey answered the question and the Google head wouldn't give a direct answer.
This is why Alex Jones (regardless of what you may think of him) was de-personed within 1 hour by all of "big tech". Twitter didn't immediately de-platform him but did shortly after using a video clip of him confronting a CNN twat to finally justifying his removal, even though it had nothing to do with Twitter.

... and people wonder why so few people ever admit to mistakes online. I admitted that my facts might be (I didn't re-research it - what would be the point?) have been outdated. They were right at one point, but not later... ok, yes, I was wrong - and I admitted it! Honestly, that should be the end of it, but not for you guys! Talk about gaslighting!
And I will re-iterate that none of it matters anymore because Parler is online again with another hosting provider. I challenge you to find a significant change in Parler present because they're on this new platform vs. AWS!
And how ABSURD that you present yourselves as Conservatives, but yet want to curb the rights of independent, non-monopolistic businesses from running their enterprises as they see fit!
So, with that said: is the topic to be about big-tech's rights to operate their own businesses, or is it about the fact that I admitted one of my facts was out-dated? (Have either of you ever admitted to being wrong here? LOL)
